Welcome to another captivating episode of Clergy Talk, where curiosity meets creativity! Hosted by the ever-inquisitive Sister Ash and Sister Bella, this episode features a heartwarming and insightful conversation with the esteemed artist and creative director, Aaron Lea. Many of you might recognize Aaron from his incredibly detailed tour art for the band Ghost, where he transformed Papa into an Emperor Palpatine-like figure. But Aaron's artistic prowess doesn't stop there. He has collaborated with an impressive roster of big names, including Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Paramount, Liquid Death, Archie Comics, Bad Robot, Rob Zombie, Highly Suspect, and Spiritbox, among many others. Currently, Aaron serves as the Creative Director at Inspiring Apps, where he is dedicated to breaking conventional molds and creating intuitive designs, especially for those who can't advocate for themselves. Before his tenure at Inspiring Apps, Aaron experienced a period of artistic identity crisis while working at various ad agencies. It was one pivotal project that reignited his passion for illustration and set him back on the path as a graphic artist. Tune in as we delve into Aaron's creative process, his sources of inspiration, and his candid thoughts on tracing. This episode promises to be a journey of artistic discovery and heartfelt revelations. Don't miss it! Follow us on IG:   / clergytalk   Follow us on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3uwqkwq... Gospel 6 - Brendan McGowan

Gospel 6 - Brendan McGowan

2024-05-3101:14:42

Greetings, my beloved flock! This is Sister Ash, here to guide you through another divine episode of Clergy Talk. Today, Sister Bella and I had the heavenly pleasure of conversing with the enigmatic Brendan McGowan. You may know him as the charismatic on-screen Terzo (Papa Emeritus 3) from Ghost's mystical music videos for "Square Hammer," "He Is," and Papa Nihil’s vampire juice box friend from "Dance Macabre." Part One: Divine Artistry and Metal Hymns 🎨🔨 Our spiritual journey began with a dive into Brother Brendan’s artistic talents. We explored the sacred art of tattooing, discovering the stories and inspirations behind his intricate designs. The conversation then ascended to the celestial realms of his musical endeavors with his band Folterkammer. Brother Brendan shared some captivating tales from other music videos he has graced with his presence. Truly, his creativity knows no bounds! Part Two: Ghostly Roles and Unholy Antics 👻🎬 With spirits high, we delved into Brendan’s role as Terzo. Ever curious about the behind-the-scenes happenings of a Ghost music video? Brother Brendan revealed all, sharing enlightening details and amusing antics from the set. We even discussed the fate of his iconic white suit from the "He Is" video, which was auctioned for a heavenly sum. His reaction to this revelation is nothing short of divine! Follow Brother Brendan on Instagram at @unholyroman to keep up with his blasphemous adventures. And, for those looking to spread goodwill, learn more about his charitable work with the Rain Or Shine Diaper Fund at @rainorshine_diaperfund Join us on this blessed journey of art, metal, and ghostly mysteries – this episode of Clergy Talk is a gospel you won’t want to miss! 👻🎸💀 Follow us on IG: http://www.instagram.com/clergytalk Follow us on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3uwqkwq... Our curious nun hosts, Sister Ash and Sister Bella, sat down with Deanna Miller to discuss her ADHD diagnosis, and how being neurodiverse effects her interests and hobbies. Deanna is a Ghost fan, but her interests span beyond-- from Movies, to video games, painting, and diving into other music. Deanna was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 12, then later re-diagnosed at 27. Listen, watch, and learn along with your curious nun hosts! I'd like to extend a heartfelt apology to our viewers for the screen quality of this Gospel. There was an issue with WIFI, which my recording platform couldn't rectify, and it caused my screen and my guest's screen to have poor visual quality. The issue was fixed in our following Gospels.
