The Go-To Podcast for Busy, Christian Moms Who Want to Get More Done and Still Be Present With Their Family!
Are you constantly trying out new daily routines that have you juggling house chores and cramming in work during nap times?
Do you feel guilty when your kiddos invite you to play, but by the time you’ve told them ’just a minute,’ ’hang on,’ or ’let me finish this’, the day has slipped away with no intentional focused time together at all?
Does your brain feel like it will never just SHUT OFF with your continuously running to-do list?
I’m SO excited you’re here!! This podcast will help you create simple systems, daily routines, and time management strategies to feel more productive in your days so you can balance running a home AND being fully present for your kiddos.
Hey, I’m KyAnn. A mom, wife, and Jesus lover. For too many years, I let my habits just sort of happen without much intention or thought. I felt constantly behind and I was trying to do it all, but doing NONE of it well.
I was chasing business success, achievements, and hustle culture that stole my time and mental health so I didn’t have any extra energy to devote to building intentional habits that kept my priorities in the RIGHT order. I finally realized that if I was going to balance motherhood and homemaking well, I had to find simple routines and systems to serve me in the season I was in.
I created daily rhythms for our family that reflected my priorities and helped me tackle my to-do list, all while allowing me to be fully present with my kiddos - simple systems that when practiced well, even allowed extra time to work on my business during the cracks of time during the day. And now I’m ready to share it all with you!
If you are ready to finally find a routine that works for you…steps to feel more balanced and less overwhelmed in your days as a busy mom…systems that give you your time back, help you to be more present with the people you love most, and finally get your brain to just RELAX-this podcast is for you!
Pop in your single AirPod (mom friends, you know you do this, too!), grab your iced coffee, it’s time to find your rhythm!

Some days, it feels like you’re doing everything “right” in business-hitting your goals, growing your income, serving your clients-and yet the very freedom you started this business for feels farther away than ever. You want to prioritize your family, but it often feels like they’re getting whatever is left over after the business has taken it all. I’ve been there, friend. In this episode, we’re talking about the two sneaky habits that are actually keeping you from truly putting your family first (even if it looks like you already are!).
I’m sharing how those habits showed up in my own life when I was stuck in survival mode-constantly moving from one busy season to the next-and what needed to shift for me to finally reclaim peace, presence, and purpose at home again. You’ll walk away with practical steps to create space in your days, define real stopping points, and stop reinventing the wheel so you can steward both business and family well.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs,
KyAnn

Today’s episode is a special one—you’re getting a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of a real coaching call from inside my group program, Rhythms that Scale. You’ll get to listen in as I coach one of my clients, Samantha, through how to reposition her membership that hasn’t been growing the way she hoped. We walk through how to align her content so it naturally leads to her paid offers, how to build an offer ladder that keeps clients working with her long-term, and how to create a business ecosystem where everything she’s already doing—posting, creating, and serving—works together to drive growth and income without adding more to her plate.
Getting personalized coaching like this is one of the most valuable parts of Rhythms that Scale. It’s where strategy meets support—where you can bring what’s actually happening in your business and get clarity, direction, and encouragement to move forward. These are the kinds of conversations that help you stop spinning your wheels and start scaling with confidence and peace.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs!

Some weeks feel like a juggling act—between travel, launches, homeschooling, and home life, it can feel like there are a million tabs open in my brain at once. That’s exactly why I’ve been leaning hard on the rhythms that keep my business steady, even when life feels anything but.
In today’s episode, I’m sharing the three weekly business rhythms that are saving my life right now. These are rhythms I’m so glad I invested energy into building, because they continue to pay off in every season—busy or calm. I’ll talk about how batching content finally clicked for me once I stopped trying to do it all at once and broke it into smaller steps. I’ll share the surprising freedom that came when I stopped forcing myself into systems that didn’t fit my brain and instead created workflows that actually support me. And I’ll walk you through what shifted when I stopped just planning the night before and started blocking out my entire week ahead of time.
These simple but powerful shifts have freed up mental space, created margin, and helped me keep things running smoothly in a season that could otherwise feel overwhelming. My hope is that they’ll encourage you to think about what rhythms could bring the same stability into your week, too.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs,
KyAnn

If you’ve ever wondered what daily life looks like behind the scenes of homeschooling littles while working from home and running a business, today’s episode is for you!
I’m walking you through our current daily schedule with three kids five and under—what’s changed since I last shared it a year ago, the rhythms that are serving us well right now, and the small shifts we’re planning for this fall. You’ll hear how I structure our days with flexible time blocks instead of rigid schedules, the daily anchors that keep us steady, and why I do a quarterly refresh to make sure our routines actually fit our season.
If you’ve been trying to figure out how to balance family, homeschooling, and work without burning out, this conversation will give you both encouragement and practical ideas for shaping a rhythm that works for your own home.
I pray this episode encourages you!

We’ve all had those seasons where life feels completely scattered—you’re running from one thing to the next, and the overwhelm never seems to lift. You know something needs to change, but the thought of carving out time to overhaul your routines feels impossible. And even if you did, what happens if the first routine doesn’t stick?
In this episode, we’re talking about how to reset your rhythms in a way that works with your busy life, not against it. I’ll share the practical steps you can take to start right where you are, without waiting for the “perfect time,” and how to create routines that are flexible enough to adapt as your season shifts.
If you’ve been feeling all over the place and stuck in survival mode, this conversation will give you both encouragement and sustainable tools to build consistency without adding more pressure. You’ll walk away with clarity on how to begin again, reset your habits, and finally feel more grounded in the middle of your full life.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Some seasons of friendship look different than others—especially when you’re raising littles, running a business, and juggling all the moving pieces of daily life. It can feel hard to find time and space to connect deeply with the people you love. But the truth is, friendship doesn’t have to disappear in busy seasons—it just has to shift.
In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing some of the friendship rhythms that have been serving me well in this season, from regular girls’ nights to small ways of staying connected even when time feels limited. We’ll talk about why it’s okay for friendship to look different from season to season, how to find a rhythm that works for you and your people, and what it means to do life deeply with friends while honoring your current priorities. I’m also pulling back the curtain on some recent conversations with close friends about the Bible and the church, and how the Lord has been using those moments to both convict and encourage me in personal ways.
I hope that this conversation reminds you that friendship can grow deeper, even in the busiest seasons, when we build rhythms that fit the life God has called us to right now.
I pray this episode encourages you!

If you’ve ever believed the lie that you’re just not consistent enough, or that overwhelm is your forever struggle, I want to remind you today: that’s not the truth. Procrastination isn’t really the problem—it’s just a symptom.
In this episode, we’re digging into what’s actually fueling procrastination and keeping you stuck in counterfeit productivity, overwhelm, and limiting beliefs. From the way your brain chases quick dopamine hits, to the habits and “fake progress” tasks that steal your energy, we’ll uncover why you end the day drained but not truly moving forward.
I’ll share encouragement plus practical tools to help you get clear on what matters most. You’ll walk away with a simple clarity exercise you can use right now to cut through the noise, reset your perspective, and take meaningful steps forward in your home, business, or calling.
If you’ve been stuck in the cycle of busy but not productive, this episode will help you break free and start walking in the consistency and clarity God has already equipped you for.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Some days it feels like no matter how much we grow, there’s always a new milestone waiting on the horizon. That constant push for more can easily leave us feeling behind or discouraged. But what if the real key to sustainable growth—in both business and life—is learning how to measure progress differently?
In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing how I track growth in my own business and life, and why it’s so important to measure against where you’ve come from instead of only looking at where you want to go. We’ll talk about practical metrics to watch, daily and weekly rhythms for recording your wins, and the mindset shift from living in the “gap” to celebrating the “gain.” My hope is that this conversation encourages you to slow down, recognize just how far you’ve already come, and embrace the journey of growth while still moving toward those exciting goals ahead.
I pray this episode encourages you!

We’ve all set goals before—whether it was finally keeping up with the laundry rhythm, hitting a revenue number, or following through on a big idea—only to feel crushed when we didn’t meet them. It’s so easy to slip into an all-or-nothing mindset where the value of a goal is only measured by the final checkmark. But what if the real purpose of goal setting isn’t just about the outcome, but about simplifying and clarifying your journey along the way?
In today’s episode, I’m sharing a reframe that will help you set goals that are achievable in your current season and still push you toward sustainable growth. You’ll hear how to create goals that align with your actual capacity, reflect your deepest values, and move you forward without burning you out. If you’ve ever felt torn between your drive for big dreams and your desire to truly enjoy life and motherhood in the process, this conversation will help you find that gentle, sustainable balance.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Some seasons feel like they just won’t let up—whether it’s the circumstances you intentionally chose or things outside of your control that landed in your lap. In today’s episode, I’m sharing how I walk through those fuller-than-normal seasons with less overwhelm by focusing on what I can control, even when I can’t control the situation itself.
We’ll talk about the power of words in shaping your brain, how your language impacts stress vs. growth responses, and why gratitude helps your mind spot solutions instead of more problems. I’m also sharing a practical way I use rhythms to pivot gracefully, protect what matters most, and complete the stress cycle so I can move forward with peace. My prayer is that this conversation encourages you in whatever season you’re in.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Scaling a business as a mom can feel exciting and exhausting all at once, especially when the weight of doing everything yourself starts to take its toll. That’s why I’m so excited to have Hannah Findsyz on the show today! Hannah is a follower of Jesus, fire wife, toddler girl mama, and an OBM & Systems Strategist for CEO moms who want to grow their business and deepen their impact without the backend chaos.
In this episode, Hannah shares her journey from workaholic tendencies before motherhood to finding balance as both a mom and business owner, along with practical advice for preparing to outsource before you’re technically ready. She talks about the signs it may be time to bring on support, what to have in place before you delegate, and offers encouragement for the mom who struggles with letting go of control. If you’ve ever dreamed of growing your business in a sustainable way without sacrificing peace at home, I pray this conversation gives you the clarity and confidence to take that next step.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Every once in a while, life gives you a chance to step out of the everyday and into something that has the potential to become a core memory. Recently, I had the gift of creating one of those core memories with my 5-year-old daughter—a girls’ trip that turned into so much more than I expected. From hotel pools to splash pads to coffee shop stops, it was the sweetest reminder of what happens when we slow down and let rhythms make room for joy.
In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing the story of that trip and the lessons it left me with. We’ll talk about the difference between living in survival mode and having enough capacity to notice opportunities for connection, why planning ahead doesn’t take away the magic but actually adds anticipation, and how stewarding your energy makes it possible to say yes to moments that matter.
This little adventure reminded me that core memories don’t just happen—they come when we have the space, foresight, and energy to fully show up.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Grief can feel heavy, messy, and—if you haven’t walked through it yourself—confusing to navigate when someone you love is hurting. Over the past few years, our family has walked through a few seasons of deep loss, and one thing I’ve learned is how much it matters to have people who show up in tangible, thoughtful ways.
In today’s Memos in the Margins episode, I’m sharing what it’s looked like for our family to be on both sides of grief—receiving care during heartbreaking seasons and learning how to be the village for others when they face their own. You’ll hear practical, specific ways people have loved us well, what’s been most helpful to keep in mind, and even some small, intentional gestures that can mean the world to someone in pain.
Whether you’re in a season of loss yourself or simply want to be equipped to support a friend or family member when that day comes, I pray this conversation helps you feel ready to step in with love, compassion, and confidence. Because we’re not called to do life alone—and carrying each other’s burdens is one of the most beautiful parts of community.
NOTE: This episode includes discussion of grief, loss, and a brief mention of miscarriage.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs!

What if launching something new in your business didn’t have to feel like stepping off a cliff—what if it could feel rooted, purposeful, and led by the Lord?
Today, I’m finally pulling back the curtain on a project I’ve been hinting at for a while—my very first retreat! I’m hosting it alongside my dear friend Jordan Jones, and in this episode we’re sharing all the details: who it’s for, why we’re so excited, and the behind-the-scenes journey that’s already been such a gift.
We share the process of being over halfway sold out before even officially launching, how seeking God’s guidance has shaped every step, and why inviting Him in first changes everything. Plus, I’ve got some encouragement for the business owner who’s about to step into something brand new—it might be exactly what you need to hear today.
If you’ve been curious about the Rooted Retreat happening in January 2026—or if you just need a fresh reminder to launch with faith—I think you’ll find this conversation inspiring, practical, and maybe even the nudge you’ve been waiting for.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs!

What if joy isn’t something you wait around to feel—but something you can actually practice, even in the messiest seasons?
Today I’m sitting down with my friend Rachel Awtrey—mama to two boys, military wife, blogger, and podcast host—for one of my favorite conversations we’ve had on the show. We’re talking about what it looks like to love your life… even when you don’t like everything about it.
Rachel gets honest about writing her first book, then walking through a season that tested every single truth she wrote down. We talk about finding joy when nothing is going the way you planned, holding grief and joy at the same time, and how to spot those tiny sparks of joy when they start to come back.
If you’re in a season that feels heavy, I think this conversation will meet you right where you are.
I pray this episode encourages you!

Hi, friend! This episode is a real and unfiltered look at the season I’m walking through. From grieving a sudden loss to battling imposter syndrome when my rhythms fell apart, I’m sharing what it’s looked like behind the scenes.
We’ll talk about the guilt of not having it all together, the pressure to be perfect, and the reminder that it’s because of our struggles—not in spite of them—that we can encourage and walk alongside others.
If you’ve ever felt like an imposter when life feels messy, I pray this episode reminds you that your struggles don’t disqualify you, they equip you.
Ever feel like your days are so full, you're making decisions on the fly and running on fumes?
In this episode, I’m giving you a peek behind the curtain of my very full summer. VBS prep, hosting my sister’s bridal showerr, appointments, and trying to squeeze in work wherever I could. With so much going on, I didn’t have space to make thoughtful decisions every day.
What helped me stay grounded wasn’t doing more, it was pre-deciding. I’m sharing how this simple practice has helped me reduce stress, protect my peace, and stay anchored in busy seasons. If your summer’s been anything like mine, this one’s for you.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs!

Have you ever gone through a season where spending time with God felt harder than usual?
Maybe your Bible sits unopened for days (or weeks), your prayers feel rushed, or you’re caught in a cycle of guilt and perfectionism that makes it even harder to get back into rhythm.
If so, friend, you are not alone.
In today’s episode, I’m opening up about a very real and current struggle in my own faith walk. I’m talking about what it looks like when I fall out of my usual rhythm with the Lord, how that affects my heart, and what I’m doing to gently, gracefully reconnect with Him.
I also share a beautiful word of wisdom from my dear friend Jordan that really spoke to me, and I think it’ll speak to you, too.
I pray this episode encourages you!
Hugs!

More on sabbath? Yes please! More on social media/tech? Absolutely! My heart has been shifting on both of those issues and I'd love to continue conversations about them.
