Happy New Year! We start 2025 by going back to fantasy. In Bloodguard by Cecy Robson, we are thrusted into a world where Leith must survive as a gladiator to provide for his sisters. Thankfully, he's caught the eye of Princess Maeve who decides to sponsor him. We stop at chapter 35 where we are unsure if Leith will be able to compete to finally become a Bloodgaurd and if Maeve's plan to secure her birthright is still possible. Join us at the end of the month to find out if any of our predictions come true and who will live and who will die.

How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn took us on a wild ride through long held grudges to intimate moments in a reindeer barn. We start our November book of the month The Boyfriend by Freida McFadden and are thrown right into the middle of two timelines. One is the past with Tom, who has killer tendencies. The other, Sydney who just wants to find love, and may be willing to look over some red flags. Don't forget to join us at the end of the month to find out who will get their happy ending.
In the final episode of Home Before Dark by Riley Sager, almost all of our questions are answered. We find out what made Maggie's dad write his book about their haunted house and what leads to Maggie writing her own. Home Before Dark by Riley Sager follows Maggie whose father wrote a best selling book about their haunted house. Maggie has returned to the house shortly after her father's death and finds that what he wrote might not have been entirely true. Or was it? Join us as we discuss our thoughts and feelings about the first half of the book. Don't forget to join us at the end of the month where we will discuss how everything ended.

In the Guest List by Lucy Foley, we are introduced to the chosen few who get to stay with the bride and groom in a secluded castle on a mysterious island in Ireland. Everyone may seem normal at first, but not everyone is who they seem. Join us as we discuss the first half of the book and don't forget to tune in at the end of the month when all is reveled.
