That’s why the process of anointing is also about recalibrating your internal state, aligning your frequency with the divine, and carrying that vibration into the world.Anointing: Ritual and Meaning through the AgesHistorically, anointing has meant the application of oil—signifying consecration or elevation into a new role or status. Spiritually, it’s about being covered with the “oil of the Divine”—a frequency that conveys dominion and a status equal to the gods.This anointing shifts you at a cellular level, acting as a kind of spiritual “hazmat suit” that allows you to interact safely with higher realms and energies, protecting you from spiritual harm.This tradition has deep roots in Ancient Egyptian (Kemetic) spirituality. The ankh is the symbol for “life” or “breath of life.”The ancient had spiritual gatekeepers, ushering initiates through a process of purification called the Baptism of Fire. When prophecy is rooted in ego rather than Spirit, it loses authenticity and becomes a form of control.Discernment is vital.True prophetic leadership creates a mirror of the heavenly government structure on earth—what Christ called the “Eklesia,” and what we call positions like Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Pastor, or Evangelist. These are functions for the purpose of collective guidance, not religious rank.A Time for Self-InquiryAsk yourself:What distracts me?What am I trying to prove?What am I afraid to lose or let go?What stands in the way of my spiritual vision?Bring these questions to the Divine and listen for the answers.If nothing comes through at first, that’s okay. Mother, Father and Son/Daughter.The divine feminine - which is rising and bringing care, love and healing into our consciousness.The connection between Sophia theology and women’s teaching authority is inseparable.Karen King, a professor of church history at Harvard Divinity School, suggests that the Nag Hammadi texts are not an aberration, but a window into a Christianity that flourished for the first two centuries.In this world, Sophia was a central theological concept, and women held significant positions of teaching authority.This was not a marginal movement; it thrived in major centers of thought like Alexandria, Rome, and Gaul.The texts preserve fierce debates, such as the Second Treatise of the Great Seth, which records a Christ figure ridiculing bishops who claim authority without knowing the truth.The Testimony of Truth directly attacks the institutional church, claiming its leaders possess the name of a dead man but lack the actual spirit of truth.These were not the writings of defeated heretics hiding in caves, but the arguments of sophisticated theologians claiming the institutional church had abandoned Christ in favor of political power.The historical pattern is clear: Sophia theology flourished wherever Christians had intellectual freedom and collapsed wherever bishops allied with imperial power.By the late 4th century, major centers of this tradition had been suppressed, and the texts survived only because monks buried them before the purges arrived.The Nag Hammadi discovery proved that an entire branch of Christianity was erased, not because it lost the theological argument, but because it lost a political war.The removal of Sophia was a metaphysical amputation that severed humanity from half of the divine image.For the first two centuries, women could look toward the heavens and see themselves reflected in Sophia, who was wisdom incarnate, present at creation, and a teacher of humanity.Her existence meant that femininity was ontologically divine, allowing women in these communities to teach, prophesy, and perform sacraments with divine authority.After the Council of Nicaea and the destruction of these texts, the reflection of the feminine divine disappeared.The Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—became conceptually MASCULINE, and the only remaining feminine figure was Mary, defined by her obedience and receptivity.If the divine image is exclusively masculine, then maleness is seen as godly, while women become derivative reflections or corrupted vessels.In the late 4th century, Augustine of Hippo codified this into doctrine, arguing that a woman is not the image of God by herself, but only when joined to a man.This theology shaped law, culture, and family structure, suggesting that female subordination was not social convention but a cosmic order.The slide toward devaluation reached a point where the Council of Macon in 585 CE debated whether women even possessed souls.Medieval theology continued this descent, with Thomas Aquinas characterizing women as “misbegotten males” and defective versions of the masculine ideal.These were not fringe ideas; Everything moves fast—except the truth.2026 is pivotal. While 2025 was the preparation, we are now facing the point of no return.Big energies. Alrighty. As Mental Health is at a all time high in the transitioning world we cohabitate, I need to bring attention to THE COST. I just read this really sharp take on the whole therapy conversation in America, and I wanted to break it down for you.The main point is pretty straightforward: the mental-health crisis isn’t mostly about a lack of therapy.A PERSONAL NOTE: Hyper Sensational Therapy vs. Real Healing: Why Presence MattersThere’s a trend in therapy that prizes spectacle over substance — dramatic techniques, flashy protocols, and quick-fix promises that look impressive but often miss what actually keeps people stuck. I’ve trained across many modalities — hypnotherapy, trauma‑informed approaches, EMDR, archetypal healing, Internal Family Systems, and more — and I’ve learned something important: technique alone isn’t the point.The core of real change is simple and often quiet. At the heart of my practice is being a natural intuitive and a committed witness, informed by relational neuroscience and energetics.What matters most is presence. Presence is the first and most powerful intervention. When a practitioner can hold steady, attuned, and nonreactive, clients are able to drop the performance and melt into vulnerability. That’s when the body speaks, the nervous system moves, and grief, fear, shame, or confusion can be processed rather than re-enacted.Is Therapy Costing You?Money stress, loneliness, and the fact that a lot of the old ways we used to cope (church, bars, big friend groups, family nearby) have basically disappeared.Therapy can be helpful for some people, no question, especially the roughly one in four adults dealing with real mental illness.But it’s been turned into this mandatory first step for everyone, almost like a luxury product.The message everywhere online is: you can’t date, you can’t be happy, you can’t even really live until you’ve spent years and thousands of dollars ‘working on yourself.’And that’s starting to feel off.What’s interesting is that this same pressure has quietly taken over a lot of spiritual and self-development communities too.You see it all the time now: before you can meditate properly, manifest anything, or even show up to a retreat or a ceremony, you’re told you have to ‘do your trauma work first’ or ‘heal your inner child.’Therapy-speak has become the new gatekeeper — even in spaces that used to be about direct connection to something bigger.It’s like you’re not allowed to seek meaning or transcendence until you’ve paid a therapist to sign off on your emotional résumé.A lot of the happiest countries in the world don’t have therapy on every corner.They have strong safety nets, affordable housing, universal healthcare, higher wages, or super tight family and community bonds.When people aren’t constantly worried about losing everything, their mental health — and honestly their spiritual life — tends to be a lot richer.Meanwhile, social media is flooded with therapy language (boundaries, attachment styles, trauma, self-care), and most of it comes from people who are actually doing fine.A huge percentage of the mental-health advice on TikTok and Instagram is misleading or flat-out wrong, but it spreads because vulnerability gets clicks and likes.On the access side, the U.S. actually has plenty of therapists overall — more than doctors or dentists per capita.The real problem is cost and distribution: rural areas have almost none, most don’t take insurance, and if you’re on Medicaid or Medicare you’re often out of luck.If you’ve got money, therapy is as easy as booking a workout class.If you don’t, good luck.There’s also a growing gender gap.Women are twice as likely to get mental-health treatment, partly because three-quarters of therapists are women, and a lot of guys just don’t feel understood in those rooms.Young men in particular are falling behind faster than any other group (education, jobs, relationships, suicide rates), and the loudest cultural voices either ignore them or blame them.So some end up drifting toward the only places that at least pretend to listen, even if those places are toxic.The piece ends with a pretty blunt line: social media platforms and influencers — and honestly a lot of modern spiritual spaces — make more money when people stay anxious and stuck in endless processing.The bigger fixes aren’t another app, another $200 session, or another ten-week trauma course.They’re economic security, real-life community, fitness, taking social risks, and rebuilding the basic stuff that makes humans feel connected, safe, and open to something deeper.That’s the gist of it. I thought it was a refreshingly non-ideological way to look at a conversation that usually gets very heated very fast.
