RABU 14 JAN 2026 FLIGHT ROUTE RADWIMPS — ANEW Here are the current RADWIMPS members in 2025 (after lineup changes ahead of their 20th anniversary year and Anew era): Official Active Members (2025) 1. Yojiro Noda (野田洋次郎) — Lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, primary songwriter• Founding member and face of RADWIMPS since 2001.   2. Yusuke Takeda (武田祐介) — Bassist, backing vocals• Joined in 2003 and continues as the band’s bassist for the Anew era.   Member Currently on Hiatus • Satoshi Yamaguchi (山口智史) — Drummer (hiatus since 2015)• Officially still a band member but not active due to long-term hiatus; RADWIMPS mainly functions with Noda & Takeda as the core.   Former Member • Akira Kuwahara (桑原彰) — Lead guitarist, backing vocals — departed from the band in October 2024 after over 20 years with RADWIMPS.  ⸻ Summary:In 2025, RADWIMPS is essentially active as a two-member core — Yojiro Noda and Yusuke Takeda— with Satoshi Yamaguchi still officially part of the band but on long hiatus, and Akira Kuwahara no longer in the lineup.  If you want their roles (instruments + contributions) or a brief on what each has done in the Anew era, I can give that too!1.  Sebelum diputuskan judulnya 'Anyu/Anew' Menurut Yojiro ada sekitar 4 kandidat judul album. Mereka biasanya diskusi bareng dulu mana yang paling cocok2.  Menurut Takeda, 'anew' menggambarkan "refreshed return to RADWIMPS’ band sound"3.  Awalnya 'anew' cuma 8 lagu, baru ditambahkan lagu2 "penghubung cerita" kayak 'Mountain vanilla' dan 'period'4.  Menurut Yojiro emang sejak awal, "Meidai" udah direncanain sebagai lagu pembuka buat Anew, tapi karna liriknya dianggep terlalu serius, jadi dia seimbangin dengan lagu2 yg santai biar nggak kaku . Tapi gaada satupun lagu yg "gampang" dibuatnya, lagu yg pendek misalnya 'mafaaka' ngerjain sound gitarnya lumayan ruwet dan detail katanya.5.  'meidai' dan 'tamamono' itu lagu jagoannya radwimps di album ini (infonya) karna mereka merasa udah bikin lagu yg "berat", mereka merasa punya kesempatan utk lebih eksperimental di lagu lain.6.  Menurut takeda lagu yg paling "ngena" itu 'Hitsu Zetsu'7.  Udah beberapa album ke belakang yojiro jarang pake lirik dalam bahasa inggris lagi, karena ternyata dia surprised even lagu dia yg full bahasa jepang bisa dinyanyiin sama audience diluar jepang, jadi dia udah nggak ngerasa seperlu itu pake bahasa inggris kecuali emang dirasa perlu misalnya dilagu 'mafaaka' menurut dia lebih cocok pake inggris8.  Takeda suka lirik di 'Nante Iu' - "with a smile like holding the final piece of a 70,000-piece puzzle in your mouth". Menurut Yojiro dia lamaaa banget bikin lirik 'Nante iu'. Tapi lirik fav Takeda ada di ‘Piaf.' - "Even so, I want you to keep smiling. Because I can't seem to find any wish greater than that".9.  Di background music lagu 'odakyu line' ada suara aktual stasiun kereta di jepang.
