In this episode of Investigating HLH, Adam Narloch speaks with Dr  Daniella Schwartz and Dr Randy Cron to discuss a rare, potentially fatal syndrome characterized  by hyperinflammation⎯macrophage activation syndrome (MAS). Dr Daniella Schwartz is a rheumatologist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh  Medical Center (UPMC) Presbyterian Shadyside and the UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital.
