Halloween night, 2001. A blue moon hangs over Virginia, a celestial event so rare it only occurs a handful of times per century. Seth, a young man wrestling with his faith and freshly removed from Liberty University, decides on a whim to drive out to the Blue Ridge Parkway alone. No plan, no destination, just a quiet stretch of road under a perfect, cloudless sky. He pulls into an empty turnout, not a single car in sight, and figures, why not take a night hike? The trail is short, the visibility through the trees is crystal clear, and he settles onto a bench to take in the stillness. That's when the silence becomes unnatural. No insects. No wind. Nothing, until the snapping of twigs begins circling him from the darkness. Back at his car, things escalate. Pinging sounds strike the steel frame of his 1970 Chevy Bel Air like pine cones being hurled from the void. The tree line ahead begins shifting, figures standing where there were none before. And on the grass median to his left, flat shapes appear like blankets tossed on the ground, cloaked and hooded but with no depth, no hands, no faces. Each time Seth looks away and back, they've moved closer. Then comes the flickering, a light sparking where a face should be, like a Bic lighter that can't hold a flame. Seth has never been able to find another account like this, and we try to unpack it through the lens of his testimony, childhood trauma, spiritual access, and the strange convergence of a once-in-a-generation night. Timothy Alberino is back in the basement, and this time the conversation is pointed. With the release of the documentary Age of Disclosure and a Spielberg film on the horizon, the UFO topic is no longer fringe. It's congressional. It's mainstream. And according to Tim, it's something the Church desperately needs to engage with rather than dismiss. He breaks down the difference between contactees and abductees, why the "it's all demons" explanation doesn't hold up under scrutiny, and what's really going on with the Collins Elite, a group of evangelical Christians inside the Pentagon actively working to block disclosure because they believe the phenomenon is satanic deception.Tim isn't here to mince words. He's here to challenge the reflexive skepticism that has paralyzed so many believers. Crash retrievals are real. Biological bodies have been recovered. And there are people inside the government fighting to bring oversight to programs that have operated in the shadows for decades, programs tied to black budgets, human experimentation, and worse. He talks about his conversations with Lou Elizondo, decades of reverse engineering programs, and why so many believers have slipped into what he calls "conspiracy psychosis," a state where even if the government started telling the truth, no one would believe it. The deception is coming, Tim says. But it's not the existence of gray aliens. It's the message. And if your roots go deep in the gospel, you don't need to be afraid of the facts. It's 2009 in Fairview, North Carolina. Two teenage cousins are hanging out in a treehouse ten feet off the ground, stereo playing Elton John's "Benny and the Jets" into the cool fall night. Then, right around the third "Benny," time seems to stop. A massive finger, easily twelve inches long and covered in matted gray-brown fur with a thick black talon, slides through the cracks in the floorboards. Not frantically. Methodically. Back and forth. Whatever was attached to that finger was standing on the ground below, which means this thing had to be enormous. The boys froze, paralyzed by a fear Blake describes as primordial. Something deep in his DNA telling him there was no escape, no fight, just freeze and hope. But that's just the beginning. Blake's story opens up into a lifetime of strange encounters across the Carolina mountains: precognitive dreams that run in his Cherokee family line, a UFO sighting that vanished the moment it knew it was being watched, and a bizarre vision of a Native American chief named Timbo that he never went looking for. We dig into what makes North Carolina such a thin place, the connection between curiosity and intelligence in these creatures, and why Blake believes these encounters, terrifying as they are, have only deepened his walk with Christ. This one's got Bigfoot, orbs, little people lore, and a whole lot of Appalachian strangeness. Want to listen to this episode and an entire back catalog of exclusive members-only content? What if the entire goal of the gospel isn't to escape earth but to bring heaven crashing into it? One of the greatest living theologians, author of over 80 books, former Bishop of Durham, and a scholar whose work has shaped how millions understand Paul and the early church, N.T. Wright sat down with us to talk about his new book, The Vision of Ephesians.  We delve deeply into Paul's letter to Ephesus, which is filled with the kind of cosmic, spiritual warfare content that most churches tend to gloss over.  Tom walks us through what it actually means to be "seated in heavenly places" while simultaneously engaged in battle against principalities and powers. We talk demons, the rapture, and the weird stuff in Scripture that most pastors skip over.  He explains why the armor of God is mostly defensive—and why the one offensive weapon, the sword of the Spirit, isn't the Bible as we think of it, but the announced word that Jesus is Lord. As we further explore Ephesians, Wright contends that Paul's letter is the "room with a view" in his writings—a place where you can stand back and see the whole cosmic picture of what God is doing. And that picture isn't about escaping earth for heaven. It's about heaven and earth crashing together, with Jesus at the center and his people caught up in the collision. Tom traces how ancient philosophy and Enlightenment thinking convinced the Western church that God is far away and our job is to wait for extraction—and why that reading makes nonsense of Genesis, the Sermon on the Mount, and Revelation. But this conversation isn't just theological theory. Tom opens up about personal encounters with spiritual warfare, including the time every fire alarm in the building went off the moment he stood up to lecture on Ephesians 6. He shares stories from his years overseeing diocesan exorcists as Bishop of Durham, the C.S. Lewis passage that shaped his understanding of spiritual resistance, and why both ignoring the demonic and seeing demons behind every bush are dangerous mistakes. We also get into his thoughts on the rapture and how Jesus redefined power itself through the cross. This is a masterclass in biblical theology from a living legend. Ali Siadatan returns to unpack one of the most loaded statements in Scripture: "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man." But what if Jesus wasn't simply warning about moral decay? Ali argues that Christ's first-century Jewish audience would have understood Him to be pointing to a specific biblical age — one marked by the sons of God descending to earth, passing forbidden knowledge to humanity, and establishing Nephilim kings over an advanced civilization. That world was Atlantis before the flood wiped it from history. And according to the template, it's all happening again.Ali traces a stunning convergence of events around 1947: Israel's rebirth as a nation, the first major UFO sightings, and Jack Parsons conducting satanic rituals at Devil's Gate while the formula for solid rocket fuel suddenly "came to him." From the Nazis reconstructing the altar of Zeus in Nuremberg to declare the laws of the Holocaust, to the fourth industrial revolution now merging biology and technology, Ali makes the case that fallen angels are once again pouring knowledge into human civilization — not to help us, but to prepare humanity for war against the returning King. The sons of God have reappeared, their hybrid programs are underway, and we may soon be ruled by Nephilim kings just as Daniel prophesied. Atlantis is rising again. A piece of metal lands on a physicist's desk. The claim? It was recovered from a UFO crash site. Most scientists would laugh it off, but Dr. Matthew Szydagis takes it to his lab and fires up the spectrometer. Matthew is a unicorn in this space, a Christian experimental physicist who explores dark matter by day and tests alleged extraterrestrial materials on the side. He's worked with Nimitz witness Gary Voorhis, appeared on UFO documentaries, and catches flak from both atheist colleagues who mock his faith and Christians who think he's chasing demons. He doesn't care. His mission is simple: gather physical evidence, test it rigorously, and follow the truth wherever it leads. Here's what stopped us in our tracks. Matthew has watched multiple people convert to Christianity through UFO research, not because they decided the phenomenon was demonic, but because they came to believe in a Creator who filled the cosmos with physical beings. If Satan is orchestrating a grand deception, that's a spectacular failure. We get into why the "it's all demons" framework can't account for radar signatures and isotopic evidence, why the "vast distances make travel impossible" argument collapses under basic relativity, and why early church fathers like Augustine had zero problem with extraterrestrial life. Matthew also drops his controversial take on Bob Lazar and offers a wild hypothesis about why aliens might be staying silent. This is a physicist who believes in dark matter and the resurrection, and he's not apologizing for either. Buckle up, this conversation will stretch your categories and remind you that truth, both scientific and theological, is bigger than our comfort zones. An old farmhouse in the Ozarks. A newly adopted son with unexplainable nightmares. Voices telling children to ride their bikes onto the highway. Manifestations at 3 am. A dark figure with red eyes. And a portal beneath the hallway floor. Susanna's family moved into a house that had sat vacant for over a year, with previous owners' clothes still hanging in the closets, family photos abandoned in the chicken coop. She didn't think much of it. Not everything is spiritual, right? Then she went to a prayer retreat, women prayed protection over her, and she came home able to see what had been hiding in plain sight. What followed was five months of intense warfare and years of fighting for her youngest son. Her husband spoke in demonic languages while sleeping. Her three-year-old made the sound of a goat being slaughtered. Her daughter had visions of creatures clawing to get in and a sealed hole beneath the house that could become unsealed. Susanna tried everything: anointing oil, property line prayers, texting YouTube exorcists. But it wasn't until God sent an African woman from her old Bible study that the generational curse over her son was finally broken. This is one of the wildest testimonies we've had on Blurry Creatures, and a reminder that Christianity isn't Harry Potter. There are no magic words. Sometimes the battle is long. But God is faithful. Jess Phoenix was a professional witch with a massive online following when things started unraveling—mental torment, sleep paralysis, her children being harassed by spirits, and a growing sense that something was deeply wrong. Then came the C-section that nearly killed her. She lost three and a half liters of blood, left her body, and heard a voice say, "Believe me now." She survived, but didn't convert—not yet. Months later, consumed by rage after being betrayed, she sat at a table covered in bones doing the darkest magic she'd ever attempted. That's when a light walked into her room at 2 AM and said two words: "I am." The next day, while her son watched Prince of Egypt, she heard Moses ask the burning bush its name. Same answer. She dropped to her knees. Jess had the gift—she could see spirits, know things about strangers, predict the future with terrifying accuracy. She had a two-year waitlist for readings. Names, dates, details about complete strangers—she was never wrong. But she wasn't tapping into the divine. She was receiving a file, handed to her by familiar spirits—demons that have followed you around since childhood, collecting every trauma, every secret, every detail of your life. When they feed that information to a psychic, you trust her. And when she speaks a curse over your future, you accept it. That's how it works. In this episode, Jess shares her full journey from successful UK witch to follower of Jesus and holds nothing back. She explains how the occult actually operates, from entry-level manifesting to dark rituals. She talks about seeing a mermaid at fifteen, the false Jesus deceiving believers, the Kundalini spirit masquerading as the Holy Spirit, and the battle she didn't expect—religious Christians attacking her for her appearance, her language, her lack of church membership. Whether you're deep in the church or deep in the occult, this one will challenge something you believe. The Magi weren't reading Daniel. They weren't studying the prophets. They were reading the sky.In our Members-Only Part 2 of our Christmas deep dive into the Star of Bethlehem, Caleb Jones returns to answer the question everyone's been asking: Why did the Magi know to come? What did they actually see in that chart that made them pack up and travel for months?Using ancient sources—Ptolemy, Manilius, Vettius Valens—Caleb reconstructs what an astrological reading of August 12, 3 BC would have looked like. The verdict? A heaven-blessed birth in Palestine. Incredible fortune. Warfare and a sword in his future. Someone who would overcome great danger through Jupiter and Venus. But this episode goes deeper than astronomy. Caleb traces how the Bible itself addresses astrology—not as fake, but as a rival way of knowing that God told Israel not to pursue because He would speak to them directly. When Israel rebelled and looked to the stars anyway, God wove their disobedience into His plan: He would use pagan astrologers to announce His Son and shame His people who should have known better. From Deuteronomy to Isaiah to Romans, the threads converge. The Magi weren't reading Daniel. They were reading the sky. And God met them there. The Christmas story is stranger than you thought. Not a member yet? What was the Star of Bethlehem? A miraculous light? An angel? A comet? Attorney and biblical researcher Caleb Jones brings a library of books and years of astronomical study to the basement to present the most compelling answer we've ever heard: the Star of the Magi was the combined light of Jupiter and Venus merging into a single point of light in the sky, not once, but twice. On August 12, 3 BC, a rare planetary conjunction appeared in the eastern sky for just ninety minutes before dawn and was visible only to those whose job it was to watch the stars. Ten months later, on June 17, 2 BC, an even more spectacular once-in-a-millennium conjunction occurred, visible to everyone, setting over the hill of Bethlehem at the exact location tradition holds as the house of Joseph and Mary.Caleb walks us through astronomy, ancient calendars, the chronology of Herod's death, the census of Quirinius, and why the world still counts time based on the reign of Jesus Christ. This isn't just about solving a Christmas mystery. It's about how God speaks to people where they are and even through systems He told Israel not to use. The Magi were pagan astrologers doing pagan astrology, and God used the very stars they were watching to lead them to His Son. They arrived with gold, frankincense, and myrrh, and they worshiped. The star wasn't magic. It was astronomy. And somehow, that makes it even more miraculous. Merry Christmas from Blurry Creatures! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Fern and Audrey are back, and they're not pulling punches. After 30 years of working with survivors of satanic ritual abuse and trauma-based mind control, they've seen the church get it wrong over and over—rushing to deliverance while ignoring the broken human sitting in front of them. In this episode, they explain why that approach fails, what real healing looks like, and how to tell the difference between a demon and a dissociated part of someone's fractured mind. They also drop a bombshell: in 2015, they handed evidence of Epstein's Island to the FBI, and watched it disappear into the bureaucracy. The dismissal, they say, is just as evil as the abuse. But there's hope in this darkness. Survivors who begin to differentiate—who start to reclaim their own thoughts and recognize their value—don't go back. And the church is slowly waking up. The question Fern and Audrey leave us with is haunting: if darkness is pursuing humanity this hard, why aren't we?Not a member yet? Get the new book here! https://amzn.to/3YCch1g What if the key to understanding the Bible's supernatural storyline has been hiding in plain sight—on every mountain peak from Genesis to Revelation?Dr. Joel Muddamalle returns to break down the cosmic mountain motif: an ancient Near Eastern concept that shaped how the Hebrews understood everything from Eden to the temple to the final battle. Mountains weren't hiking destinations—they were portals. Meeting places. Contested territory between Yahweh and the rebellious sons of God.In this episode, we explore why Eden was almost certainly elevated, how the Tower of Babel was humanity's attempt to build their own sacred peak, what made Mount Hermon the headquarters of evil, and why God chose Sinai to reveal His personal name to Moses. Joel walks us through the cosmic geography that connects Sheol, the abyss, and the heavenly throne room—all anchored to the mountain image. She's seen demons lined up like an army. Angels 60 feet tall. Jesus himself, standing in a backyard with a toddler. Britt Holland is a seer, and she's been seeing things since childhood—long before she had any framework to understand it. In this episode, Britt shares her full story: prophetic dreams that came true, a vision of the crucifixion at 17, years of seeing in the spirit realm, and the dangerous season when meditation practices opened doors she didn't mean to open. She encountered false Jesuses with fangs. Witches astrally projecting into her room. A mimicking spirit impersonating her husband.Britt's story is wild, but it's also grounded. She talks about the angels who appeared as humans in Russia and Germany and vanished without a trace. She explains the difference between the prophetic and the psychic, and how she tests what she sees against scripture. She's honest about where she went wrong, what she learned, and why she now believes that just because you can see into the spirit realm doesn't mean you should go exploring. For anyone who's ever had a supernatural experience and wondered if they were crazy—or if it was real—this episode is for you.Join us for a wild journey beyond the veil in this intriguing and wide-ranging interview on the unseen realm.  Want to give the gift of Blurry for Christmas? Billy Hallowell noticed something that should bother Christians: every October, Hollywood releases films about demons, possessions, and the supernatural—and audiences pack theaters. Meanwhile, many churches won't touch these topics with a ten-foot pole. The CBN journalist, TV host, and documentary filmmaker joins Blurry Creatures to explore this disconnect and share what he discovered while making "Investigating the Supernatural: Miracles." Billy walks through verified cases of miraculous healings, including a man who was dead for 40 minutes—pronounced dead, shocked 12 times, being prepped for the morgue—before a praying doctor saw him come back to life with a perfect heartbeat. These aren't secondhand stories; Billy investigated them with the rigor of a journalist, seeking medical records, eyewitness accounts, and expert analysis. He issues an open challenge to skeptics and cessationists alike: watch the documentary and then explain what happened, because he couldn't find any naturalistic explanation. The conversation goes deeper into why Billy believes the church's silence on the supernatural is a massive failure. He argues that secular materialism has seeped into Christian thinking, leaving believers with a "truncated view" of spiritual reality that leaves them unable to understand the world around them—from geopolitics to personal struggles. Billy shares his conviction that UFO and alien phenomena are demonic in origin, meant to redirect attention away from God, and he sees the current mainstream interest in these topics as a door Christians should be walking through. The episode also addresses the dangerous theology that blames sick people for lacking faith, what near-death experiencers consistently report about God's love, and why humility—not dramatic encounters—is the real catalyst Billy has observed in countless conversion stories. Plus, in true Blurry Creatures fashion, we explore whether Bigfoot could be demonic, a "rental car" for spiritual entities, or something else entirely. He wasn't asleep. He wasn't dreaming. A swirling black void simply opened in his living room, revealing shadow figures moving through ancient stone corridors on the other side. Rye sat there watching—peering into the abyss like a security camera fixed on another realm. For him, that portal was the culmination of a lifetime of supernatural encounters that started before his first breath, when a priest read him his last rites. Generational witchcraft on one side, miraculous healings on the other—Rye grew up caught between two spiritual inheritances. Shadow people with glowing red eyes, objects moving on their own, automatic writing, paranormal investigation, and eventually a return to faith. His story is a vivid reminder that we were made to live in the overlap—and that the veil is thinner than most of us realize. He shares a testimony that's part warning, part Christ-centered hope, and fully blurry. This is a members-only exclusive Blurry Creatures episode. Dr. Manny Arango, New Testament scholar and author of "Crushing Chaos," joins us to explore the biblical monsters we've sanitized out of our modern understanding of Scripture. From the dragon in Eden to Leviathan in Job, Manny argues we've fallen victim to the "lullaby effect"—becoming so familiar with these stories that we've missed their jarring, supernatural elements. In this fascinating conversation, Manny reveals why the talking serpent in Eden was likely a dragon, why God describes Leviathan to Job in excruciating detail, and how Jesus' ministry was fundamentally about conquering chaos monsters. But the real twist? Manny argues that humans can become the monsters—that the Bible's greatest concern isn't external beasts, but our own potential to devolve into chaos. From ancient Near Eastern mythology to modern anxiety, this episode explores how biblical monster stories are actually roadmaps for retaining our humanity in a world designed to make us beastly. Manny's insights on chaos versus sin, the nature of humanity, and Jesus as the ultimate dragon-slayer offer a fresh perspective on spiritual warfare and what it means to stay human in a chaotic world. It started with a witch in Providence. In the 1970s, Joe Cetrone's parents befriended a practicing Satanist — a woman who conducted séances, summoned spirits, and claimed to enter people's dreams. Joe was just four years old. By seven, he'd had his first encounter with something inhuman standing beside his bed on Christmas morning. Decades later, Joe became a paranormal investigator, appearing on Travel Channel's Haunted Case Files and Paranormal Survivor. He investigated the infamous Sallie House. He captured an EVP that made pastors uncomfortable — a demonic growl responding to the name of Jesus Christ. But when his own son was physically attacked by an entity, Joe faced a reckoning. The fame he'd been chasing came at a price he wasn't willing to pay.In this episode, Joe tells the whole story — the parts the TV shows left out, the evidence that convinced him the spiritual realm is real, and why he walked away from ghost hunting to write his memoir, Chasing Shadows. Joe also discusses the UFO-Bigfoot connection, why analog equipment captures things digital can't, what demons look like on camera, and his conversations with Chuck Missler, LA Marzulli, and Russ Dizdar. This is one of the most compelling testimonies we've ever featured. This is a members-only Blurry Creatures exclusive. Most near-death experiencers see the light. Steve Kang went the other direction."There were demons everywhere. Three-to-four stories tall with capes and weapons. I knew they were in charge of this place called hell."Raised Buddhist, dedicated to becoming a monk, praying eight hours daily—Steve had his spiritual life figured out. Then a laced drug at a party kept him awake for ten straight days. Buddhist artifacts started making poltergeist noises. A voice claiming to be his god offered a deal: kill yourself for a better afterlife. So he did.During surgery after his suicide attempt, Steve landed in a place Buddhists don't believe exists: hell. Crowded. Dark with no sun. A purplish-red wasteland with massive demons and torture cages. And the certain knowledge: "I'm going to be here forever." But that wasn't the end of the story. As he was fighting for his life and experiencing the realities of hell, eight Christian ministers showed up to pray for a Buddhist kid they'd never met. In those moments, Steve shares how Jesus appeared to him in hell, offering love and rescue when he least deserved it. In this unbelievable story of salvation and redemption, Steve gets a second chance at life. His encounter became the turning point that not only saved him from death but also transformed his entire understanding of God, salvation, and purpose. Today, Steve shares his story as a testament to the reality of the afterlife and the radical love that pursues us even in our darkest moments. What lurks beneath our oceans? Can a soul truly be sold? And why do UFOs seem to defy physics itself? In the fourth installment of their Members-Exclusive AMA, Nate and Luke navigate through 60+ submitted questions, cherry-picking the most intriguing mysteries and burning questions about the Blurryverse. They examine testimonies of craft disappearing into mountains and oceans, including military tracking of objects that seamlessly transition from air to water without slowing down. The discussion ventures into theories about underwater bases, the unexplored depths of the ocean, and those mysterious geometric structures visible on Google Earth's ocean floor. The hosts discuss the theological weight of Mount Hermon - the supernatural significance of the location where fallen angels allegedly made their pact - and question whether ancient giants really walked among us, examining claims that the Smithsonian systematically collected and hid oversized human skeletons whenever they were discovered. The conversation weaves through the Book of Enoch's controversial status, why it didn't make the biblical canon despite being quoted in Jude, and what it might reveal about the true nature of our reality. They reflect on how guests like Tina Griffin, Ben Tapper, and Blake Cook all had UFO encounters that weren't even the main focus of their episodes, suggesting these phenomena are far more common than we realize. Between the heavy topics, discover what the shows the hosts are binging, books they are reading, and why they've already been in full Christmas mode with jazz (Nate) playing in the background. "You're being manipulated, and you don't even know it." Jesse Carey, writer and producer of the new audio docuseries PSYOP hosted by Shawn Ryan, blows the whistle on the psychological operations shaping modern culture. The series examines how psyops function at scale, not just in government black ops but in everyday news, social media, and entertainment. These manipulations exploit how we process information: we're tribal, emotional, confirmation-bias-prone creatures who prefer narratives reinforcing our existing beliefs. Sophisticated operators craft messages that trigger specific responses, divide populations, and make people feel independent while following scripted patterns. From framed news stories to rage-inducing algorithms to normalizing entertainment, psyops constantly shape what we believe is true and acceptable.Jesse breaks down how psyops work and why Christians are particularly vulnerable despite being commanded to test everything and renew our minds. We discuss specific tactics, including how intelligence agencies infiltrated the UFO community to create a false UFO religion, the development of new directed energy weapons with mind control-like abilities, how stories trigger emotions rather than inform, why certain narratives dominate while contradicting evidence disappears, and how "doing your own research" can lead deeper into controlled narratives. Drawing from the PSYOP series research, Jesse emphasizes that recognizing manipulation isn't about paranoia but about developing the discernment Scripture commands. Christians should be the hardest to manipulate, yet we're often the easiest targets because we mistake cultural programming for biblical conviction. This episode pulls back the curtain on the psychological operations, propaganda, and methodology used to control and divide the masses and will help you to recognize manipulation and think critically about what you're told to believe. hmmm. trying to sway a bit? it's not a stretch to think deception is possible in how UFOs are presented. By media , government & the UFOs.

after hearing this and past episodes about the book of Enoch. I understand why the church did not add this to Canon. Tertullian was never considered an early church father. He was a systemic that broke off from the church

I can't take you guys seriously when you defend the Patterson film. That thing has been so thoroughly and accurately debunked and they even know the guy that was wearing the suit. there's literally no way that I can believe anything on your show if I know that you are bought into Patterson Bigfoot film If you don't have the critical thinking skills to believe adequate evidence that disproves your pet bias theory, then how do I know you won't be gullible in some other area?

I love your Pod, but the guests injecting their biases is starting to overshadow the show. This guest went into how everything is "racist" now. He's a white male. As a black woman, I deal with micro aggressions every day. Can I enjoy the pod without someone mentioning something that doesn't even affect them ? Racism is not a blurry creature. Racism is real.
