She has appeared on TV shows like The Americans, Bartlett, Madam Secretary, Gossip Girl, and Casi Casi, and she co-created the web series BUTS, which won an NBCU Short Film Festival Award and earned an Imagen Award nomination. She is in pre-production of an animated series and developing several TV shows. A member of the Actor’s Center, she graduated from Princeton University and the Yale School of Drama. Featuring music and lyrics by Chilina, and book by Eric, and musical arrangements by Daniel Edmonds, Wild About You was produced for two nights at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane (Brian Spector/Keaka Productions). Chilina has also composed music featured in 'Til Then (Toronto) and is co-writing another new musical with Daniel Edmonds and Eric Holmes, which is currently in development, and produced by ArtLab. Chilina has worked with Burt Bacharach, guest-starred in concert with the TSO, Colm Wilkinson, and Jason Robert Brown. She also appeared on the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors as Carole King, singing with legends Aretha Franklin, James Taylor, Janelle Monae, and Sara Bareilles. Director David Staller joins Behind the Awards to chat about his current Off Broadway production of Pygmalion now playing at Theater Row. Staller, a noted Shaw expert enlightens us about Shaws humble beginnings and how Pygmalion evolved into the wildly popular My Fair Lady. David Staller is the founding artistic director of New York’s Gingold Theatrical Group, which produces the monthly juggernaut series, PROJECT SHAW, at Symphony Space, now in its 14th year. Created in 2006 to champion human rights and free speech using the work and humanitarian precepts of Shaw as its platform, GTG is the only organization to have produced performances of all of Shaw’s 65 plays, all directed by Staller. He has also directed full off-Broadway productions of HEARTBREAK HOUSE, MAN AND SUPERMAN, MAJOR BARBARA, YOU NEVER CAN TELL, and WIDOWERS’ HOUSES which were all filmed by the NY Library for Performing Arts archives at Lincoln Center. He oversees the annual Shaw New York Festival, which includes full productions, new play development workshops, seminars and symposiums, and educational programs. He has also produced and directed many plays and special events around the world and is frequently invited upon the international theatre and socio-political scene as a speaker about equal human rights and all things Shaw. He also teaches at SUNY Stony Brook and the Acting Shaw classes sponsored through GTG. He has produced and directed many plays, concerts and special productions in New York and around the world, including (for the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences) the French National event at the Deauville Film Festival honoring the 50th anniversary of the D-Day Allied Invasion. Through GTG, David has also helmed several educational programs, most notably at Baruch College and with inner-city teens at Lighthouse International. Currently, he is partnering with Prof. Andrew Flescher at SUNY Stony Brook teaching ‘Drama in English: George Bernard Shaw, Provocateur.’ He studied acting and directing with Stella Adler and Uta Hagen in New York, Lee Strasberg in Los Angeles, and at RADA in London. As a teenager, he was in the apprentice Joffrey Ballet Company in New York. He then joined the Rostropovich master ‘cello class at USC. While studying at USC, he  became ‘script doctor’ for several film and television production companies. Coming back to New York, he returned to acting, appearing in three Broadway plays (EVITA, CABARET, and HELLO, DOLLY!), almost 50 off-Broadway plays, and many regional theatre productions. He was given a Drama League ‘distinguished performer’ citation for his performance in GASLIGHT at the Irish Repertory Theatre Company in New York. He has appeared in many television shows and commercials, particularly voice-overs. He has also had a successful career as a cabaret and concert headliner. He performed his one-man show, NOEL & COLE, at Carnegie Hall in 1993. During all of this, he continued writing and became a scriptwriter for Turner Entertainment. David is also a long-time member of The Actors Company Theatre in New York. Kevin Zak - Originally from Buffalo, Kevin has made his career in NYC working on Broadway, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, and in television.  He is the writer and director of the Off-Broadway hit comedy GINGER TWINSIES, now playing at the Orpheum Theatre through October 25, 2025. He is also providing additional material for Rob Lake Magic with Special Guests The Muppets playing the Broadhurst Theatre on Broadway beginning October 28th, 2025. (omg the Muppets!) He’s been involved either as an actor or creative on such productions as Death Becomes Her, Waitress, Clinton the Musical (Lucille Lortel Nom.), and Silence! The Musical (Off-Bway and 2024 UK production).  He is also writing the book for the musical adaptation of The NY Times best-selling memoir Running With Scissors, by Augusten Burroughs. Other projects include A Kidman Carol, A Gay Dementia on Australian Dames (writer/director) and Little Fucking Women (adapted from the Louisa May Alcott classic). Currently, Kevin is developing television pilots with Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Victor Quinaz, and Tim Federle.   Jesse Robb - Jesse is a Tony Award nominated and Chita Rivera Award winning choreographer and movement director based in New York City. An honors graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts,  Jesse’s resume covers a wide variety of work including Broadway, Cirque Du Soleil, Disney, Cameron Macintosh, Mirvish Productions, Momix, Prime Video, RWS Entertainment Group, Opera Philadelphia and Turner Classic Movies.  On Broadway, Jesse is the co-choreographer (alongside Shana Carroll) for the new musical Water For Elephants. The production is directed by two time Tony Award nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo) and was nominated for 7 TONY Awards including BEST MUSICAL.  Jesse and Shana received Tony Award, Drama Desk, and OCC nominations for their work as well as the Chita Rivera Award for Outstanding Choreography.  “Gorgeously Imaginative” - Jesse Green, The NY Times. The production launches its North American Tour in the Fall of 2025. Currently, Jesse is the Movement Director for the North American touring, West End, Japanese, and South Korean companies of Les Miserables. Jesse was the Associate Choreographer for the Tony-Nominated Revival of Miss Saigon and The Cher Show.  For Saigon, he staged the performance on the Tony Awards Broadcast and remounted the show for the subsequent North American tour and Vienna company. Jesse was also a long time associate to the Tony winning legend Bob Avian.  Regionally, Jesse has worked at The Alliance Theater (Suzi Bass Award for Outstanding Choreography), The MUNY, The Stratford Festival of Canada, Theatre Calgary, Ogunquit Playhouse, The 5th Avenue Theatre, The Ordway, The Cape Playhouse, and The Berkshire Theatre Festival among others.
