The Nebraska football team has hit the ground running in Las Vegas. And soaring through the air – as coach Matt Rhule displayed in riding the zip line above Fremont Street. We’re back on this Monday with reaction to all that Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule had to say to the media on Friday in Lincoln. There was a lot to digest. Rhule is just “Matt” during bowl practices with the defensive linemen. He’s getting his hand dirty, re-living his days as a position coach. The players enjoy “Matt. “And Rhule wants to keep this as a part of his coaching plan. Also, Rhule bristled at the suggestion that Nebraska is in the midst of a reset. He’s just tweaking things, Rhule said. Was Nebraska dead for 10 years before Rhule arrived? More coaches were on the way in and on the way out early this week in the world of Nebraska football. Matt Rhule brought some news with him to a media session on Tuesday. Rhule dismissed Terry Bradden, making it three coaches fired after the Huskers’ 7-5 season. What a weekend it was in college football – and for Nebraska, which experienced none of the drama of the top programs who battled for conference titles and CFP spots.
