The Seattle Seahawks throttled the Los Angeles Rams to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl and it should be no surprise that a massive special teams error ultimately tipped the scales the the Seahawks. The Rams issues in the third phase have been their Achilles heel all year and Seattle being a more well-rounded team gave them the advantage they needed. The New England Patriots will once again head to the big game, but this time they are led by Mike Vrabel. Vrabel has proven once again he is a top-tier coach in the NFL and despite his quarterback falling apart in the playoff and a lack of superstars anywhere on the roster, his magical touch continues to get the absolute best out of his squad. The Pittsburgh Steelers mad a strange move this weekend, hiring Mike McCarthy as their next head coach. This is a major departure from their previous practices and doesn't really make sense for where they are as a team. It appears the Steelers are still unable to properly evaluate who they are as a team. The Los Angeles Rams head to face the Seattle Seahawks as underdogs and if they want to win the season series, they will need Matthew Stafford to play at the MVP level we saw this season. For the Seahawks, it all comes down to running the ball and keeping the pressure off of Sam Darnold, and they should be able to do it. In the AFC, the Denver Broncos will be trotting out their backup quarterback which puts an emphasis on the run game, the problem is the New England Patriots defense has locked down the ground game of late and as long as Drake Maye doesn't turn it over, they should skate to the Super Bowl. Finally, offensive coordinator roles are being filled fast around the NFL, but the Philadelphia Eagles seem to be striking out. That says more about the environment in Philly than the roster on offense. The Buffalo Bills decided to part ways with head coach Sean McDermott and it was clearly a mistake, but now things are getting even worse in Buffalo as general manager Brandon Beane and owner Terry Pegula embarrassed themselves at a press conference on Wednesday. The Los Angeles Chargers made a massive move to hire Mike McDaniel as their offensive coordinator and it shows that Jim Harbaugh is truly willing to do what it takes to make his team better. The NFL's conference championships are this weekend and with the Denver Broncos missing Bo Nix, they will need the run game more than ever. Now, they may get back JK Dobbins, who would be a big boost in that realm. The Buffalo Bills rocked the NFL on Monday when they fired head coach Sean McDermott. Losing to the Denver Broncos was certainly painful, but the biggest issue with the Bills this year wasn't McDermott's making, but the lack of talent on the roster delivered by general manager Brandon Beane, who should have, at minimum, been fired as well. The Broncos won that game, but lost the war as Bo Nix will miss the rest of the postseason with an injury and while that doesn't guarantee a loss, it leaves the Broncos with no hope, in reality. The New England Patriots will now get a free pass into the Super Bowl, but going up against the NFC makes it unlikely the Patriots can actually get another title after beating the Houston Texans this weekend. Finally, the Texans have some major questions going forward with CJ Stroud at quarterback. After a great rookie year, Stroud has fallen off and conversations around the league are starting to question his commitment and ability to run an offense. The Los Angeles Rams answered their critics and got a massive win over the Chicago Bears in overtime. The Rams were inconsistent throughout, but made the clutch plays when they needed to and made sure to advance. The Bears couldn't get things going enough in the passing game as Caleb Williams threw multiple picks, but this is still a great season for a young Bears team. The Buffalo Bills gave the game away to the Denver Broncos on Saturday Night and there is no way to avoid the reality that Josh Allen choked the game away with his best chance to get to the Super Bowl on the line. The reaction from the Bills players after the game tells you all you need to know and even if Buffalo got the raw end of a few penalties, they also didn't deserve to win. The Denver Broncos won the battle, but lost the war as Bo Nix's injury ruins any chance they had to be happy or go to the Super Bowl and win.  After big wins, the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are now favorites to go to the Super Bowl. The Patriots dismantled CJ Stroud's Houston Texans and now get to face the doomed Broncos as a free pass to the big game.
