Growing Old (in Christ) — In this episode Pastor Alex is joined by Pastor Bill as they talk about what it looks like to become old in your faith, maturing into the believers God wants us to be. Spiritual maturity isn’t a matter of physical age but is connected to our relationship with the Lord and growth in Him; by engaging in humility, remaining teachable, and walking in the fruit of the Spirit, we are positioned to grow into the people God created us to be. This episode will encourage and inspire you to walk before the Lord in these ways and see the benefit in your life. Let me know if you want me to change the title haha I'm not great at coming up with those. That's the main thing we talked about though as it's about the last stage of discipleship - being a mature believer.
How we become like Christ — In this episode Pastor Alex breaks down the different signs of a person that is truly growing in their faith. By asking the question, “where am I actually at in my faith,” we are able to personally analyze our own walk with God and see where we’re already growing and where we need to grow. While everyone’s faith journey is unique and different, there are typical signs of a person that is truly moving forward and growing in their faith. This episode will give you insight into being able to identify your progress in your walk with God, and encourage you to live a more dedicated life to the Lord.
"What's driving young discipleship — In this episode Pastor Alex is joined by Youth Pastor Braden Marsack as they talk about typical signs of believers that are young and growing in their faith journey. We cover the challenges and difficulties that young believers often encounter, but also the growth signs and development that is inspiring in this stage of discipleship. Regardless of age or life experience, a believer’s maturity is dependent on their discipleship walk with God, and by recognizing the fruit of your life, you can become aware of where you’re at in your walk with Him. This episode will encourage and challenge you in the philosophy of discipleship but also the practical hands-on aspects that are critical to growth in Christ."
What does it really mean to be a disciple—and what does being a disciple look to today vs Biblical times? In this episode, Pastor Alex is join by Pastor Dawson and as they explore and discuss church discipleship through the lens of Scripture, comparing the lived experience of disciples in the early church with the challenges and opportunities believers face in the modern world. From walking dusty roads with Jesus to navigating digital spaces, busy schedules, and cultural pressure, discipleship has always required commitment, sacrifice, and transformation. We examine how biblical discipleship was rooted in close community, obedience, and daily life—and how those same principles can still guide us in an age of technology, individualism, and constant distraction. This conversation invites listeners to reflect on how faith is practiced beyond church walls and how we can continue to grow as disciples today—through intentional relationships, spiritual disciplines, service, and faithful witness in everyday life. Whether you’re new to faith or have walked with Christ for years, this episode challenges us to rediscover discipleship as a lifelong journey of learning, following, and living out the gospel in a modern world.
In this sermon cast, we explore what it means to grow spiritually through obedience, even when God’s instructions challenge our expectations. Drawing from Jeremiah 27, we reflect on God’s command for His people to submit to the yoke placed upon them and trust His sovereign plan.Through Jeremiah’s message, we see that growth often requires humility, patience, and faith in seasons we would rather avoid. Rather than resisting God’s direction or seeking shortcuts, true spiritual maturity comes from trusting God’s purpose and timing, even when the path feels heavy. This should encourage listeners to examine areas where God may be calling them to submit, grow, and mature—not by escaping difficulty, but by remaining faithful within it. As we learn to carry the yoke God has given us, we discover that obedience becomes a pathway to deeper faith, endurance, and transformation.

Today we talk about wholeheartedly embracing the Great Commission. In Matthew 28:19-28 Jesus calls us to action. He calls us to share His truth. Because we are not merely spectators but rather, active participants. So, what does it mean to make disciples? And, how do we make disciples? Join us today to dive deeper into the meaning of discipleship our call to action as the church.
We believe every believer is called to embrace a purpose-driven life, seeking to fulfill God’s mission in their unique context. We understand our mission is not confined to Sunday gatherings but extends to every sphere of life – our families, workplaces, schools, and communities. Embracing a life on mission means intentionally living out our faith, sharing the hope of the Gospel, and making a positive difference wherever we go. We're committed to equipping and supporting one another as we live out our individual and collective missions, partnering with God to bring transformation to our world.
