This week I discuss Black Snake Moan. I never saw this movie when it originally came out and I thought it was going to be genuinely terrible. It turns out you should never judge a book by its cover or a movie by its poster. The music and acting in this film is great, although the subject matter is slightly lacking. This week I review Hustle & Flow. I watched this movie way back when it originally came out and I’m revisiting it 20 years later. This film definitely holds up and means even more after watching it again. The themes are fantastic, the story is awesome and the music is undeniably phenomenal. Enjoy this week’s show!

This week I talk about the 2026 film Cold Storage. This movie sounds horrible but it is actually a lot of fun and very enjoyable. It was made during COVID and passed along to a smaller production company so it is not getting the recognition that it deserves. Check it out for yourself and enjoy this week’s show!

This week we welcome back Shufflebox Co-Founder Marcello, as we celebrate his birthday this week with his choice of film DOA: Dead or Alive. This movie is the perfect non thinking film. Fighting, Action, Hot Ladies and Guys and a very terrible plot but it comes together to create a perfect beautiful disaster. This week I review the 2026 film The Rip. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck star in this crime drama that has many tense moments and a great twist. I really enjoyed this film and highly recommended checking it out! Enjoy this week’s show!

This week we discuss a viewer recommendation with the 2010 film The Bounty Hunter. This movie continues a trend of not so good films to start off 2026 here at Shufflebox but since it was a viewer recommendation how can I say no? This movie is so scattered and all over the place that the only good about the film is the attractiveness of the actor and actress in the two leading roles. This week I talk about the 2025 film The Woman in The Yard. This movie could have been so much better especially since other horror films have involved the same themes. The idea is good but it just falls short of something that could have been very interesting. Enjoy this week’s show!

Welcome to the beginning of year 4 of the Shufflebox Podcast! This year we start off with an absolutely abysmal film, From Justin to Kelly. I absolutely love musical, but this film has to be one of my bottom ten musicals of all time and don’t even have a list for that. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from The Shufflebox Podcast! We wrap up 2025 with the Dutch/Belgian Holiday film The Claus Family. This movie is not an instant Holiday classic but it is cute and something that you can sit down and watch with the family. Enjoy the show this week, and I will see you all in 2026!

This week I review the 1996 film Kazaam. Shaquille O’Neal stars as the rapping genie, so you know you’re in for a good time. I really enjoyed this film as a kid but does it hold up? I bet you’ll wish to take a listen! Enjoy this week’s show!

This week we wrap up the Wicked movies with Wicked pt. 2 also known as Wicked: For Good. The story wraps up wonderfully and the music and choreography are just as amazing. We also run into some familiar characters, but of course there’s a twist. This movie definitely has a darker tone compared to the first part but I believe that definitely helps wrap up the story for Glinda and Elphaba. Enjoy this week’s episode.

This week I review a viewer recommendation which is the Hanukkah film Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights. This film is not very good at all and has aged very poorly since it originally came out. I know this movie holds a special spot to a lot of people, so I hope you enjoy this week’s episode.

This week I wanted to give an update on what I have been up to behind the scenes and what kind of ideas I have planned for outside of the show. Don’t worry, Shufflebox isn’t going anywhere! I have plans for broadening my sphere of interests to sports cards and making more viewer requested episodes as my platform continues to grow. This week I review the 2011 Canadian com Sunil Goon. I’m currently obsessed with hockey and since I’ve always wanted to see this movie I gave it a shot! My goal was to enjoy myself and I most certainly did. Enjoy this week’s show!

This week I talk about the recent installment of one of my favorite movie franchises. Predator: Badlands is the subject of this week’s show. Does it help take the Predator franchise in a newer direction or does it flop and potentially ruin it for good? Listen in and find out!

Happy Halloween everyone! This week I discuss the 2012 film The Grey. This movie is definitely not a horror film and in fact it can be quite philosophical. The fear comes from not only being chased by wolves, but also being vulnerable and true to yourself as a person. Stay safe out there and enjoy this week’s show!

This week I discuss the Tales from the Crypt movie Demon Knight. This movie is definitely not everyone’s cup of tea, but it does have its charm and some humorous moments. The scares aren’t really the best in my opinion but it might be worth a watch if oddball horror movies are your thing. Enjoy this week’s episode.

This week I want to celebrate my birthday with one of my favorite Western films, The Revenant. This movie has some of the best scenic shots and the story is told with minimal dialogue and has some of the most iconic scenes in cinema. This movie is based loosely off of Hugh Glass and his real life story of surviving a very gruesome bear attack. I truly enjoy this movie and I hope you enjoy this week’s show!
