The Jays are having a week from hell, losing 4 of 5 to the worst teams on earth. Kirk goes down, Heineman has a series for the ages, and Brendon Little leaves no doubt about his future. We are 4-4, figure it out.
Well that was definitely some baseball. The Blue Jays just lost a series to the Colorado Rockies, dropping them to 4-2 on the season. Ponce goes down, the bats go cold, and the Rockies battled all series. Let's hope the boys get back on track in the windy city!
Have you guys heard baseball is back? The Blue Jays definitely have with the way they've been playing. The boys return to the Dome for the first time since G7 of the World Series and pick up right where they left off. Gausman, Cease, and Lauer stun the A's lineup with 32 combined Ks. Kazuma Okamoto looks amazing. Vibes are high. Onto the Rockies.
The regular season is rapidly approaching so lets do some predictions! Also the WBC is in full swing and goddamn does the Dominican Republic look good.
After a 12-year hiatus, NHL Players are back at the Olympics! Hudson and Joel recap the opening games for Canada, while breaking down the line combinations and looking forward to the remaining rounds. Gold or Bust!
Baseball has returned, and so have we. Everyone is in the best shape of their life, expectations are high, and rumours are winding down. The Jays make a splash by acquiring OF Jesus Sanchez from the Astros for Joey Loperfido... Also, Santander waited until spring to get season-ending surgery. Let's win some spring training games.
Hudson recaps the crazy weekend of NFL Playoff games, updates the status of Josh Allen's legacy, and previews next weekend's championship games. We also touch on the state of the Jays' roster with Spring Training right around the corner.
Both watch is over, as the Jays have missed out on Kyle Tucker and Bo Bichette. With Tucker in LA and Bo in New York, the Jays front office has a few weeks to pivot before the season starts. Does Ross have something up his sleeve?
Still in offseason mode. Jays sign Kaz Okamoto, which may not bode well for Bo. It's nice to be spending though. Tucker watch.
Hudson and Joel break down Team Canada's Roster Announcement for the upcoming Olympics, before touching on the Leafs season and the Jays Offseason plans!
Kyle Tucker this, Bo Bichette that. Many across the industry think the Blue Jays are in on one or the other. We raise an important question... why not both? Sources close to the team say the Jays are willing to do "whatever it takes." #BothWatch
Big Ross has caught a big one this time, Dylan Cease signs a 7-year $210 million deal with the Blue Jays. Biggest FA signing in franchise history. Are we done yet? Hopefully not. Jays are favourites for Tucker & Bo, activate #FavouriteWatch.
The dust has settled a bit from the crushing loss in Game 7. It still hurts, but I guess the upside is that the hot stove begins soon? Hudson and Misha look ahead to potential free agents and moves the club can explore before baseball returns. Shane Bieber is returning in 2026 (to the surprise of everyone). Is this a good omen or will the Blue Jays once again finish second in every major free agent race? Only time will tell.
That was a gut-punch. What a game, what a World Series, what a run. Thanks to everyone who listened. 143 days until opening day.
November baseball in Toronto, this one's for all the marbles. Play Ordinary.
Hudson and Joel are back to tee up game 6 and reflect on the postseason run to this point! Gausman for the title tonight, all Gaus no Breaks. 1 more.
The Blue Jays have won 2 of 3 at Dodger Stadium and now head home up 3-2. Historic Trey Yesavage Start, back to back jacks in the first inning, more 7th inning magic. 1 more!!!!
This was a classic 2025 Blue Jays game. Shane Bieber kept the Dodgers offense at bay, Vladdy pissed on a ball, and then the Jays walked and blooped their way to a four-spot in the 7th against Ohtani and the Dodgers bullpen. Don't forget about frontline reliever Chris Bassit. The Series is now tied 2-2. Why not us?
What is even real at this point? After a game that went 7+ hours and 18 innings, the Jays are down 2-1 in the series to the Dodgers as they look to make up ground in the remaining games. Quick recap: A Hall of Fame lineup matched up against the Blue Jays' spring training B team. Springer got hurt. Kirk homered. Ohtani was on base 9 times. Brandon Little pitched in the bottom of the 18th. What more could you ask for?
Both hosts of the 500 Level are back for a postgame pod. We heard about the Dodgers' rotation, but Yamamoto came out and still surprised us, completely shutting down the Blue Jays' lineup to even the series at 1-1 as we head to LA. Now it's a 5-game series, we've won those before. Game 3 Monday. Let's win the off-day.
