A Super Bowl Edition of Fair Game with Nick Farabaugh
How do the Steelers compare to the Patriots and the Seahawks? The Steelers beat the Patriots earlier in the season.

Mark says that the process of voting is outdated and they need to make presentations instead of someone defending someone. Mark has never punched someone in the face but he threw someone through a window. Mike Tomlin apparently told Jay Glazer that he was done coaching two years ago. Does Mark believe it? Dan Rooney sat down with Alan Saunders. He is becoming more visible in the public eye. When can we see a potential leadership change in the front office for the Steelers? Mark reacts to the Producer PM Team Big Game Bonanza. Mark picks the Seahawks to win the Super Bowl.
The Donny Football Debrief: I defend that Lavonte David is better than Luke Kuechly, who was named to the Hall of Fame last night.
The 2026 Hall of Fame Class is announced. The better question coming out of this, with big names not getting in and who will be eligible next year, will Big Ben or AB make the Hall of Fame on the first ballot? Mullsy says that he would take AB over Ben. A discussion ensues about who is more talented. Callers defend Ben from Mullsy.

Today is the 20-year anniversary of the Steelers beating the Seahawks in Super Bowl XL to collect ‘one for the thumb.’ Ben Roethlisberger has the worst passer rating by a winning QB in Super Bowl history, but he is still the youngest QB to win the game. Is it weird that Ben apparently hates Super Bowl XL because he had a bad game, even though he was the biggest reason why they got there? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray said the size of staff has really stuck out to him when comparing what Mike McCarthy has put together in comparison to Mike Tomlin. Ray said he’s excited to see what Patrick Graham can do with a defense that has more resources than he’s used to. Ray said McCarthy called Scott Tolzien to tell him he wasn’t going to get the OC job, so his move to stay with the Saints wasn’t necessarily his choice. Ray still thinks TJ Watt would fetch the biggest return in a trade, but the salary would scare some teams away. Ray talked about edge rushers being able to age gracefully. Total Request Thursday.
Jay Glazer gave the scoop on Mike Tomlin stepping down and said Tomlin brought up doing it a few years ago. If Tomlin knew this was going to be his final year, then it makes sense some of the moves that got made, like Aaron Rodgers at QB. Why didn’t they try harder about making moves at the deadline, though? He shouldn’t have had any concern over mid-round draft picks. Big Game Bonanza. Donny Football Debrief – Who is going to be the Steelers OLB coach, Shawn Howe or CJ Ah You?

Pomp shared his memories of Super Bowl XL and the run the team went on to get there. The discussion turned into a story of guys smoking cigars when in celebration mode. Bob said Tampa Bay (43) was his favorite Super Bowl city and Dallas (45) was his least favorite. Bob once hung out with Snoop Dogg at a Super Bowl party. Bob likes the Seahawks to win Sunday by double digits. Is LC Greenwood going to get into the Pro Football Hall of Fame tonight? How far are the Steelers from being a real contender? Bob said his go-to Super Bowl snack/food is lobster mac & cheese. Power Rankings – Steelers greatest Super Bowls.
We started with our Super Bowl memories on the 20th anniversary of Super Bowl XL. What were we doing? Where were we in life? For us, it was the first time seeing the Steelers win a championship. Donny was 10, watching with his dad, with fond memories of the journey through elementary school during that playoff run. Callers shared stories from what they did for Super Bowl XL. Pirates insider Jason Mackey from the PG joined the show. Tarik Skubal won his arbitration case with the Tigers which will earn him $32M per year, so what does that mean for Paul Skenes and his future? Would the Pirates ever pay that? Jason doesn’t see a world where the Pirates affording Skenes. Jason never thought there was a prayer of the Pirates landing Framber Valdez, who signed a big deal with Detroit last night. Jason said the Pirates still need a 3B if they want to be taken seriously. A few rapid-fire questions for Jason regarding the Pirates Opening Day roster. When will Konnor Griffin be on the roster?
