We were born onto this nursery planet for a reason. Join TA as he unpacks the spiritual and scientific mysteries behind our existence — who we are, what we're made of, and why we're here at all. A deeply human podcast for those seeking meaning in the vastness of creation.
In a world shaped by religion, what if God's true message has been lost in translation? Host T.A. takes listeners on a journey beyond human-made belief systems to rediscover God's original intent for humanity. Blending biblical insight with reason and reflection, Beyond Belief invites you to read Scripture for yourself, think critically, and seek wisdom—not complacency. This isn't another sermon—it's an open invitation to question, learn, and understand why we're here.
A clear, thoughtful look at life's biggest questions. T.A. examines who we are, what we are, and why we're here — through the lens of God, scripture, and the logic that connects all creation.
This episode explores Jeremiah 9:24 and the call for humanity to truly know and understand God—not through tradition, belief, or religious authority, but through reality, responsibility, and honest judgment of His actions. We confront how avoidance, complacency, and reliance on others' opinions have kept us immature and divided. Instead, we are called to grow up, take ownership of our behavior, pursue truth, and work together as individuals forming a unified, responsible humanity aligned with God's purpose. This is a challenge to stop hiding, stop lying, and start living by God's reality-based standard.
Religion teaches belief. God teaches reality. T.A. explains the difference—and why your attitude determines which side you're on.
Your beliefs shape your world and your perception of the world around you.  The original definition of "world" did not refer to the planet we live on, but to the communal life of the humans that exist on that planet.  The idea that the Earth was a planet in a solar system did not exist when the term was coined.  We "dropped" the original meaning (without replacing it) when we "upgraded" the term to reflect "planet".  This is just one of the ways "belief" and the focus it brings is detrimental to discovering "Who we  are, What we are and Why we are here on Earth". The only solution to this problem that I can find is the God-given one referred to (but not directly disclosed) in the publically printed Bible.  Use Logic (to gather evidence and form a question that needs answering) manipulate that referential database to elicit answers (Reason) then choose those solutions that have a direct or endemic effect on everyone using Wisdom (what has worked in the past and is likely to result in a structurally sound answer, now).  Adding this rational, non-animal method for decision making is what made Jesus "complete", we need to do the same if we are to overcome the trap of "Belief" as a single source for certifying and targeting human endeavors. Humanity is at a Turning Point.  While the Belief system for decision making has allowed us to develop to this point (with the addition of Science) we need to add the reality-based decision making system that Science is based on to escape the trap that is built into the Belief based system.  Then we need to apply that system to everything around us and ask, WHY.  This is the only way I can see that we will master our environment and build a civilization that is structurally sound enough to allow us to people the stars, as directed by God.
Freedom of speech demands responsibility in order to uphold civilization and America stands at its failure point. The assassination of Charlie Kirk has become a flashpoint in our ongoing dialogue about the power and consequences of our words. This episode urges a shift in perspective and advocates for thoughtful leadership, challenging traditional reliance on politicians.  In this country, created to be a Homeland for all Christians no matter how they worship, we must ask, "What did Jesus know and understand that caused him to be called "complete" and the spiritually "begotten" Son of God?  Why was Religion never able to capture this knowledge and pass it on? America's identity and purpose are under scrutiny as we grapple with fundamental questions about our existence. We explore the idea of Earth as a training ground, with humanity evolving under divine guidance. This episode addresses the complex interplay between spirituality and modern challenges like addiction and misinformation. By examining political dynamics, we uncover how certain parties exploit destructive behaviors for personal gain, while simultaneously challenging accepted views about America's ability to self-govern. This episode calls for introspection, particularly among young people, and a reassessment of religious teachings to reflect modern possibilities. We delve into the potential of the Bible as a tool for leadership, emphasizing the necessity of distinguishing between misuse and its true value. By advocating for logic, reasoning, and wisdom, we challenge the idea that beliefs are an acceptable method for making decisions that affect everyone.  Charlie Kirk's "Prove Me Wrong" was only the tip of the iceberg!
Making any decision based on Belief is Misguided!  With the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk as a case study, we unravel how beliefs can lead to destructive actions.  What did Jesus discover in Jewish teachings that allowed him to become a complete human, God's only begotten son?  What did Leonard Nimoy discover in those same teachings 1950 years later that allowed him to invent Mr. Spock, following the Hebraic definition of "A Godly Man"?  Why is there no record of anyone else ever trying to do this?
God is not a name; it's a job title. Traditional religious narratives developed during the Dark Ages are either limited or completely incorrect!  Human potential is shackled by our animal nature, not by God's advice!  The Prophet Jeremiah was told "you are a link in a chain, but a link I arranged for in advance of your birth!"  Figures like Jeremiah were purposefully "filled with a spirit" to nudge humanity toward a broader understanding of the universe and our role within it. Join us as we question what truly constitutes evil and how traditional beliefs may obstruct the divine promise of human expansion into the cosmos.   If we follow God's Instructions, we will work to use technological advancements like satellites to regulate Earth's climate and prevent natural disasters.  Maintaining Earth's ecological balance through technology, obediently follows God's Instructions to us.  Nature's harsh cleansings will abate, once we step up! This conversation invites a reflection on our responsibilities as planetary stewards and the implications of such power. As we traverse these visionary concepts, we remain open to the expansive reality that God represents, urging us to rethink our limitations and consider the responsibilities and opportunities that await us on planets circling other stars.

Host T.A. presents a radical thesis: humanity is trapped using an animalistic, desire-based decision-making matrix, and our continued failure is guaranteed unless we unlock the second, reality-based method God salted into the Bible. This episode argues that science and true spirituality are not enemies, but that organized religion has long missed the point. Discover the three-part "workaround" of logic, reason, and wisdom that Jesus understood but Paul could not teach—a method that explains the test of the Garden of Eden and offers our only path to mastering our environment and fulfilling our cosmic destiny. Join me, TA, for an engaging journey as we challenge the conventional narratives and dissect the intersection of reality and fantasy in religious texts. This episode of "Why Are We Here on Earth" is a call to rethink traditional interpretations that have long served institutional needs, urging a shift towards a clearer, reality-based understanding that could unlock humanity's true potential. We explore how the Bible has historically acted as a catalyst for societal advancement and why it's essential now to discard the fantasies that have led to real-world consequences, like environmental mismanagement. Imagine the Garden of Eden not as humanity's birthplace but as a sophisticated test environment. By questioning literal interpretations, we uncover possibilities that could significantly alter our understanding of ancient scriptures. Through stories like Cain and Abel, we explore the notion of advanced technologies and genetic enhancements that may have existed, painting a new picture of early human existence. This episode is an invitation to move beyond personal beliefs, embrace collective action, and pursue an understanding that respects the wisdom of the past while boldly stepping into the future. Let's reach for the stars together, not just in belief but in action, as we unravel the roots of these timeless stories.
Authority and instinct are relics of our past; it's time to embrace logic and reason as the guiding stars for humanity's future. Join us on "Why Are We Here on Earth" as we challenge the age-old human inclination towards authority and explore how societal unrest, like a hypothetical Californian secession, could force us to confront the remnants of our desire-driven decisions. We dissect these complexities and propose a reality-based approach to decision-making, one that not only promises longer, healthier lives but also holds the potential of fulfilling the biblical dream of reaching the stars. This episode ventures into the realm of human organization, drawing intriguing parallels between Spock from "Star Trek" and Jesus, two figures who personify logic, balance, and the pursuit of spiritual enlightenment. By contrasting these ideals with the constraints imposed by traditional religious dogma, we advocate for a future where rational decision-making prevails over instinct. As we grapple with pressing issues like politics, immigration, and environmental challenges, the discussion invites listeners to forgive past mistakes and envision a world where humanity thrives through cooperation and forward-thinking organization. Engage with us as we strive for a more organized and enlightened future, embracing wisdom over impulse.
The notion that personal desires should guide our decisions is no longer sustainable. Our latest episode challenges the traditional religious translations of the Bible, arguing for a reinterpretation to uncover its original essence. By examining the Bible through a historical and philosophical lens, we explore its role in questioning our very existence and the societal tension this creates, as seen in California's unrest. The episode navigates these conflicts, urging a shift from desire-driven to reality-based decision-making, a critical change for societal stability. We dissect the relationship between biblical teachings and religious practices, highlighting Jesus's logical and rational guidance as a blueprint for harmonious living. Our conversation underscores the importance of integrating logic with innate instincts—as opposed to dismissing them entirely—to craft a balanced life. Mismanaged resources and wildfires in California serve as cautionary tales for ignoring reality-based strategies, emphasizing the need for a societal evolution in how we confront challenges. The episode further contemplates humanity's potential evolution, inspired by biblical notions and cultural icons like Star Trek's Spock. We reflect on the idea of transcending earthly limitations, suggesting an evolution akin to a software upgrade, unlocking profound potential for our species. As we ponder the mysterious presence urging us to grow, the conversation closes with an invitation to embrace self-improvement and transformation, setting the stage for a new chapter in human existence.
