This one sat in the drafts for a second, friends. SO sorry! Blame Sammi and her first week back to school.
So, not all our predictions were correct, but one thing is for sure: Nobody on this show thought much about game theory. OR, maybe they think more about being perceived as a villain in this age of social media scrutiny? Well, either way, we're onto the new season in just a few short weeks. Will we cover Survivor? Do the people want it?
Believe it or not, we recorded this a couple of days ago, but Sammi is still in recovery mode, getting back into the swing of things after her surgery, so be PATIENT!
If you are curious about the cozy games Sammi talks about, they are available here:
* Discounty [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2274620/Discounty/]
* Tiny Bookshop [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2133760/Tiny_Bookshop/]
Also here's more info on Sean's dad, you can look it up yourself [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_McLaughlin]. We didn't get too much into the ALLEGED scandals.
Also, support Parisa in her amateur chef journey [https://www.instagram.com/chefpms/?hl=en]!
We've done lots of yapping, per usual, so let's cut to the chase. If you want to start witih the episode recap itself, go to that 10-minute mark.
Here are some of the things we talk about this week:
* Alexe's statement [https://www.reddit.com/r/thebachelor/comments/1mp6beb/alexe_has_put_out_a_statement_after_mondays/]
* What rendezvous means [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-M0qp9ollhc]
* Clayton's cringe post [https://www.reddit.com/r/thebachelor/comments/1ms0jm5/this_story_posted_by_clayton_reminded_me_of_clay/#lightbox]
* The origin of his cringe post [https://www.reddit.com/r/thebachelor/comments/1moy6pc/more_on_the_rachel_clayton_drama/] (we don't really get into, but it obviously came from what Rachel said)
We also address FAFO parenting, Steve's messed-up face, and more!
What will happen now that the tables have turned and the couples are playing for love or money? We sure hope something juicy, because that's why we're here! This episode, we cover Jonathon in the perpetual friendzone with everyone, Jeremy getting a bad edit (or maybe just making really bad choices), and Brian just being the worst. Some random things we bring up in the episode:
* The leek spinning meme [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qs8pnY3BKn8]
* Katie Thurston's clapback [https://www.soapcentral.com/entertainment/news-thanks-fan-katie-thurston-fires-back-former-bachelorette-contestant-calls-husband-solid-5s-wedding-post]
* Getting married is like joining a new board [https://www.tiktok.com/@marysasson/video/7501045085400845598]
Nights like this don't come around too often! We are locked in and ready to talk about the Bachelor finale. How did we feel about Litia's parting words? What's our take on the upcoming Bachelor in Paradise season? Tune in to find out!

Enjoy!
Listen, this episode is more unhinged than normal. Sammi's got a cold and just finished speaking for four hours straight, only to come to this jam-packed episode. We've got The Women Tell All, the Fantasy Suites, and a very delayed JILLY BOX! You won't want to miss Sammi's coughing fit as Steve throws her for an absolute loop when suggesting what nail designs she should get next.
We're in hometowns already, and there were some clear standouts, and one...not so much. We take a lot of off-ramps on this episode, including warning our audience against accidentally falling into alt-right pipelines, how Sammi was right about Hannah Berner (VINDICATION), and teasing a fturue store review!
For those following along at home, the Jilly Boxes are still delayed in transit. Sniff.
Here's an article on Grant's music [https://www.thethings.com/the-bachelors-grant-ellis-music/]. Also here's the take on Hannah [https://www.tiktok.com/@emmaaaaoh/video/7477760513267535147] that Sammi was talking about on the episode.
We're in Scotland! Adn the outlook is perhaps dreich (am I using that right?). The women are focused on their enemy of the last two weeks, Carolina, but we think she's 100% in the right. Controversial opinion? Maybe!! But at least she isn't promoting her music career.

This week, we get confirmation from Sammi's mom about all of her wild stories, plus we talk about this week's episode, I guess. It was a frustrating watch for both of us, mainly because we can't figure out what the drama is about, exactly. Carolina being honest? We just need a villain, huh?
Anyway, go follow us on Bluesky [https://bsky.app/profile/popculturediner.com] so we have more than 3 followers, k love you byeee
Is there drama in the house, or is everyone just tired and dealing with GI issues? Someone will have to write a tell-all like Courtney for us to know for sure, but what we DO know is that for these women, emotions are running high.
We talk about kid logic, appendectomies, Daytrader, and you know, whatever else we want, like normal. Stick around until the end for our take on Tyler Cameron's latest kerfuffle.
And while the Internet Archive still exists, you can learn more about Day Trader Here [https://archive.org/details/wst-2001.7z].
Check out this great TikTok for solid detective work [https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT2SC9EBP/] on the Rose / Carolina situation.
Are they crisis bangs or just cute bangs? You'll have to watch our video to know for sure! On this episode, we talk about the one-sided beef between Allie Jo and Zoe, the continued domination of Chloie and Zoe, and how Grant is maybe the best singer so far in Bachelor Nation!
We are SO back! This may be the very first season with all unique first names, no last initial required, and we are loving it! In this episode, we talk about Insomnia Cookies, our ongoing beef with Illinois, body glitter, and the Jane Goodall of hot girls.
Here's an old Jane Goodall of Hot Girls article [https://variety.com/2023/shopping/news/esther-povitsky-la-hot-girl-gift-guide-1235827466/], and the Tell the Bees take [https://www.tiktok.com/@tellthebeees/video/7465145789774417195?lang=en] on the Matt & Rachael breakup. (Also, to be fair, we hadn't watched that ANNOYING fry video, but also, let's not act like an immature man is the Antichrist).
Our favorites so far? Gotta be Chloie and Zoe. And, of course, Parisa for channelling Sammi's love of PowerPoints.
Another season has wrapped, and the first Golden Bachelorette season is behind us! While it was a very obvious episode, it was still nice seeing Joan get a happy ending. We hope it continues for many years to come. We talk a little bit about some future special episodes coming, news from The Onion, and how we feel about Grant's season. See you a few times over winter break and then again in late January!
Can you believe it's already time for another Jilly Box? And on the Men Tell All day? What a treat! We do an epic, celebration-based unboxing, interspersed with wholesome tales of the Manion Men. What a season. These men will be missed, but hopefully producers take our hints and give us Paradise!
P.S.: Please don't yell at Sammi for totally missing who Barbara is. We know how you One Tree Hill fans can get.
Consider this an interlude, a break in the action before things wrap up for good. We've created a very tight, 30-ish minute episode to get you up to speed on the Finale (part 1). Stay tuned for what is either a very thrilling conclusion or the thing we've expected all along.
P.S. you can check out Sammi's friend's Twitch channel here [https://www.twitch.tv/bizsnes].
We're already at hometowns! We get not one, but TWO , Chicago dates, a Lake Tahoe outing, and a Wichita ranch. Could a Golden Bachelorette ask for anything more? We spend a lot of time dunking on Chicago in this one, sorry in advance.
Also, go say nice things to @iced__tay on TikTok and check out Sammi's TikTok @SammiDitto for movie deep dives
We're back with another double episode! 2 times the fun in the same amount of time! We jump back and forth a bit between weeks 4 and 5, so bear with us. Do we already know who "the one" is at the end of this? And who stands the best chance at being the Golden Bachelor? Keep watching and listening for our takes.
You get a double-dose of us, but also basically half of Sammi because her camera kept freezing, so that counts for something, right? On this week's episode, we talk about Kim's amazing song, Charles being the internet's boyfriend, and all the men making us cry about every 10 minutes or so. Have we turned the corner on Guy? We think so!! Hear our predictions at the end and stories throughout - Helen Keller, tae kwon do, walking for cheese - we really covered it all, as always.
It's chaotic in our worlds, but thank goodness we have Joan to keep our stuff together. It was a pretty great start to the season. Lots of promising men, perhaps soem foreshadowing of bonding events to come, and there are some people we just want to hear from more! Will we get the chance? Will they give us Pablo in Golden Paradise? One can dream!
Even when your house has come down wih the plague, the show must go on for Jenn's sake! Sammi and Steve spend 90 minutes breaking down essentially the last 30 minutes of the finale and After the Final Rose. Is Devin diabolical or illogical? Was Jenn treated more unfairly than the other Bachelorettes? And are producers really that evil? All this and more in this episode.
