Whether you’re in the midst of a major life transition or considering a fresh start - I want to remind you that the messy middle that comes along with this kind of shift, requires a lot of self-kindness. One great way to begin to invite in more kindness with yourself is to be curious. To allow for questions like "what if" to exist and begin to lead the way. I talk about taking bold action in this episode - but I want to think of this as "curious & creative action". What answers are coming up when you ask yourself "what if?" Then what is one small action you can take to follow that curiosity that feels fun and creative?I share with you the time in my life where I was discovering this for the first time and how my "what if" turned into the discovery of new interests and the exploration of developing characters and a story for these characters to come to life within. I got curious and then I took action by getting creative in ways that were new to me.That led to new possibilities that would have not presented themselves if I wasn't already on this path of permission. I truly believe that possibility follows permission. Before I knew it - my life was evolving and a new chapter was emerging. What comes up when you ask "what if"?Then what is a bold action or in other words a "new curious and creative action" that you might take to explore your "what if"?In this episode, you’ll learn: How being curious, letting go and taking small creative action can lead you towards fulfillmentThe power of "what if"How permission and curiosity are an act of self-kindnessHow you have the power to change your lifeWhy it's never too late to start overLinks:Activate Your Goddess Era with Podcasting Watch this Episode on YoutubeMore episodes on this topic:BEGIN SERIES: How to Connect To Your Inner Compass (starts around minute 5:40)Ep.37 - Self-Kindness: Guided MeditationEp.176 - Are You Pivoting Your Career? What if healing from overwhelm, overthinking or burnout...could be as simple as spending time with Nature? In this enlivening episode, I sit down with Penni Cox, from South Africa, who is a psychologist, TEDx speaker, and founder of Alive Eco-Journeys. Penni shares her inspiring story of personal and professional transformation—moving from years of international humanitarian work and mental health counseling, through a challenging period of burnout in New York, to a profound healing journey rooted in nature.Together, w explore how reconnecting with the natural world can spark creativity, accelerate healing, and help restore both physical and mental well-being. You’ll hear why Penni believes nature is the “better therapist,” how simple acts like being barefoot on the earth or nurturing a houseplant can foster a sense of belonging, and what science reveals about the restorative power of the outdoors.Whether you’re navigating burnout, seeking more balance, or simply longing for more joy and connection, this conversation will invite you to rediscover your "ecological self" or your "wild self"—and gently remind you that awe and aliveness might be closer than you think. What if grief isn't something you heal from? But rather, something you must learn to move forward with. In today’s powerful episode, I sit down with singer, songwriter, and producer CARA for an incredibly raw and honest conversation about art, grief, and transformation. CARA opens up about her journey through personal tragedy, including the devastating loss of her brother and mother, and how she channeled her grief into the music for her upcoming autobiographical album, The Kronicles. This album features chapters from every corner of CARA’s life—including her time in the cannabis industry and her friendship with the late Gangsta Boo of Three 6 Mafia, whose voice is featured IN the album in the song CARA KUSH, produced by CARA.We have an exploratory, raw and honest conversation about how creativity can be both an anchor and an outlet in times of pain, why “healing” from grief can be a misleading idea, and the importance of finding ways—big or small—to process emotions and keep moving forward. Whether you’re a creative, seeking ways to cope with loss, or just need a dose of authentic inspiration, my talk with CARA is heartfelt and embedded in realness. We hope it also serves as a reminder that you are not alone. Your dream isn't something you achieve...it turns out. Reflect and reset with me! Tomorrow is my birthday. So I thought I would offer you a moment of stillness and intention. I feel like birthdays are a personal new year of sorts. They can be an opportunity to reflect and to reset. So today, as my reflection, I am re-sharing a meditative episode I released back in May of 2023 called Pause with Me & Set An Intention. My reset this year is to continue this process of "untangling" that I’ve been on for most of this year so far, and also to invite in the possibility of letting go of embodying other people’s energy and all that comes with that. Their goals, their aspirations, their blocks - all of the things that, as an empath, and introvert and intuitive - I easily tap into. But to instead, allow it to be their journey and allow myself to offer support without taking it on. The people-pleaser and perfectionist in me has to be very intentional when it comes to this and I’m starting to get better at placing myself at a higher position in my value system. Because I know that when I can do this - everyone I serve will also benefit. My other intention for this year is more peace. To me, peace, in this moment, represents security, confidence, trust, freedom, rest, flow, ease, love and moments for stillness. I invite you to set an intention with me as I walk into my next year in this life. If you’re curious in how podcasting as a medium can be the container that awakens you, evolves you, creates deep connection and resonance, can be the place you explore your passion or solve your most pressing problems, or unfold the business you’ve been dreaming of or connect with the minds that have gone before you - then keep listening. My guest today, Alex Sanfilippo, shares his journey like never before. These questions led us down a path of depth, divinity and raw honesty in ways that I wasn’t expecting. The way this conversation took shape is a testament to the reason this medium feels sacred to me. It’s not just a transactional moment that flies past you in seconds that you have to re-create constantly in the way that content does (ahem...social media). It’s not just content. It's connection. And it has the ability to change lives. Alex Sanfilippo is a podcast host and the founder of a podcasting software company specifically focused on independent podcast hosts and their guests to elevate their voices through podcasting and be heard - called PodMatch. In addition, Alex is also the host of the top-rated podcast, Podcasting Made Simple, and is one of the most sought-after educators and public speakers in the podcasting industry. Do you feel like there is more you have to share than you've been putting out there? It was at the age of 30 that I started to come into my own awareness around this and began the long and deep journey of untangling it. Of coming back into my own essence and seeking ways to express it. To meet myself in my purpose and create the life I really want to live - which can only happen when we come home to ourselves. And that is what we’re talking about today. My guest, Eva Simone is a High-Frequency Feminine Mentor & Coach and helps women connect with and embody their Divine Feminine and she is the founder of Embodiment Is Everything. She shares her own story with us about how she went from living under these layers that we’ve created to keep ourselves safe but that also keep us in pain and strain, and how she got curious to begin to awaken to her feminine power. We’ll learn how to begin to slow down and invite ourselves back in so that we can embrace and embody the parts of us that let us shine and let us find the flow. And when we can step into flow, it opens up all the possibilities. The world is a hustled place - but we can choose another way to create our abundance and do business and bring back the lightness and joy that I know is possible. So let’s dive in.In this episode, you’ll learn:How Eva defines the "Divine Feminine"How to untangle learned belief systems & come back to your truthHow hustle-culture can perpetuate scarcity mentality & lead to Burn-outHow divine feminine energy can help guide us back to balanceLinks:Activate Your Goddess Era with Podcasting Visit: https://www.boss-goddess.co IG: @boss_goddess.co IG:@bossgoddessbarsi Pinterest: @bossgoddessbarsi More From Eva Simone:Visit: https://www.embodimentiseverything.com/Listen on Spotify: Feminine Power: The She-Volution PodcastWatch on Youtube: Embodiment Is EverythingIG: @evasimonecoachingLinkedIn: @evasimoneMore episodes on this topic:Embracing Feminine Leadership: Celebrating Success & Preventing Burnout w/ Lisa Malia NormanWhy It's NEVER Too Late To Find Your Light w/ Jo Ann RichardsThe KEY To Awakening Your Soul & Power w/ Christian De La HuertaThank you so much for listening!
