Description

Early in my career, I heard and admired sellers in the Enterprise game. Supposedly, they are better, make more money, and show up more sophisticated. Because of this admiration. I entered into years of pursuit to make it to Enterprise Sales. This is becoming project that makes me question constantly what is Enterprise Sales, how it is different from other segments, and is the allure real?

Politics politics politics, some said politics exists when there are more than one person in the room. In Enterprise that goes even more overboard with complex organizational situation and high stake responsibilities.  Let's talk about what the heck is politics.
I am back! The past month has been difficult with a deal pending in July, and I didn't have enough energy to focus on the podcast in general.    This is why I want to talk about energy management in Enterprise Sales, and why it felt like everything else was so difficult to do. How I think about prioritization, and my struggles with the invisible work involved in this segment.
Today I interviewed my mentor Julia to talk about the mythical Executive Presence concept. I met Julia through an internal event, and I always thought she demonstrated great executive gravitas. Turns out, it was a learned skill.  Hope you enjoyed this episode and my conversation with Julia about her journey.
In this new Ai era, i started to think about my own job responsibility.  If customers can find information about a software anywhere on the internet, you might wonder, why can't a large language model explain the benefits of an ERP system? Some reflections from my current book list - Unreasonable Hospitality And lastly, what would make sales people differentiate themselves in the new world?
In this episode, I interviewed my colleague Luca. He has wealth of knowledge to share including his leadership style, sales philosophy, and stories from his time at the military.    He has an interesting slogan as: customer first, W2 always.    It's a quite engaging episode, and I hope you enjoy as well.
**Stories & opinions are all my own.  This is a personal one for me... I want to talk about my career journey, how I got into sales, and also why I stayed.    Thanks for listening!    Music in the beginning is from Motion Array - Conquering the goal by JK Production!
