The war rages on, as a giant Chumley runs through mechagoblins, Estoc discovers a supportive dragonborn family, and Twain summons a mechazombie to do her bidding. Meanwhile, Flint and his coterie of wizards and clockwork libraries continues their investigations underneath the island.
Having landed on the floating city of Dooltel, dozens of ground troops clash against a batallion of mechagoblins launching flaming cannonballs. But meanwhile, without support from our heroes, the Ultibus above struggles to stay aloft.
Resistance strikes, taking out Tugak and sending the Ultibus crashing towards the floating city, but our heroes and their backup fight back. Meanwhile, Flint's gang of excavators begin to dig into the underside of the city.
The offense upon Dooltel begins, with Flint aboard Nanbiekri, Chumley aboard the Ultibus, and Twain and Estoc in the glove compartment!
With new assistance delivered from the allied nations of Rernastone and Rosalie, and upon the insistence of Aitheath Ilipeiros, our heroes and their allies engage in an overnight strategy session in the war room under Cauntam, dividing their allies and resources into three teams: the Skyfall Team, the Hellfire Team, and the Mist Team. Discussions with the leadership of the Gracedom of Rosalie and the Queendom of Rernastone continue, as the heroes attempt to ferret out suspicious spies in their midst.

Having defeated the acid beasts, the heroes finally have the opportunity to, without distraction, interrogate a member of the Ascended, namely Vaelin Heitris of the Princess of the Trees, who knows some of the Ascended's greatest secrets.

Combat in Cauntam concludes, with deaths on both sides. Though the heirarch is dead, the rescue effort begins. And, searching the bodies of the deceased Ascended, the heroes develop new theories about the Great Rebirth.

Further interrogations reveal inklings of the Ascended's plan, but, that night, an outrageous assault upon the castle puts all of our heroes in danger, as well as the entire Yinfinan royal family and staff.
Back at the capital of the Heirarchy of Yinfina, our heroes are rejoined by old friends and attempt to persuade the Queen of their theories.
The Terrasque having been disappeared, our heroes attempt to maintain concentration and hold off the Descended's assault.
