What’s up starpartypeople! It’s a Virgo New Moon, on the first day of Virgo season, mere hours after we enter the sign of the maiden. This New Moon is happening at 0° of Virgo at 11:06 PM PT on August 22, 2025 - adjust for your time zone!It’s our last New Moon before eclipse season ~so I’m making this episode free for all~ and it is one of two new moons in Virgo we’ll be experiencing. This New Moon (pre-eclipse) is at 0 degrees. The second new moon (eclipse) is at 29 degrees. The first and final degrees of Virgo, bookending our realm of Virgo, showing us where we’re ready to heal and come out new. These Virgo New Moons are acting as a bridge of cooperation from Leo to Libra. What do we need to play well with others? Can we all get what we want?The Virgo Sun + Moon square Uranus in Gemini reminds us that some things aren’t as important as they used to be, and that’s okay. The trine from Chiron in Aries is saying that this is the worst time in human history to buy into the capitalist concept of hating yourself. Venus square Chiron at the same time says please for the love of god have some self-respect, especially when it comes to romance. The ideas of some things are more fun than the reality. Jupiter trine the North Node signals generosity begets more generosity, but the Jupiter square to Mars in Libra highlights who’s been taking advantage of your loving nature.
