Welcome to the Tank Commander Podcast, hosted by Jeffrey Pidlaoan and Noah Sharp! Just like the players we'll be covering, this is an up-and-coming NBA and Dynasty Fantasy podcast focusing on the newest players in the NBA, ranging from prospects about to enter the league in the incoming drafts, to the young rookies and sophomores who are making their way and ascending into stardom or at least a long career in the league.
We are two dynasty tank commanders with the youngest teams in our league and highest picks in our rookie draft who keep falling for the youth movement. We focus on these young players because we love following their journey and seeing how their tools and abilities help them make it to the next level, or even change the NBA itself. In this podcast, we combine our scouting eyes along with our fantasy skills, to provide ongoing young player coverage throughout the year: from the draft to summer league, to the mid-season doldrums, to the playoffs, and all the way back to draft season over again.
Whether it's the first or second year players adapting to the league and evolving past what anyone could have predicted, to the draft prospects that will make even the most old man fantasy squad want to send their team deep into tank mode, the Tank Commander Podcast is your best bet to get year-round insights on the future of the NBA.

Allen Graves of Santa Clara was one of our hardest evals this season. He has phenomenally outlier advanced stats, notably his supreme stock rates and box plus-minus, all while coming off the bench as a big-forward. His tape tells a different story, but there is a LOT more nuance than even the Dailyn Swain episode demanded. Dailyn Swain of Texas will come into the league with a very good wing/forward size and very good skills on both sides of the ball. Where his ceiling ultimately lies is in how he can bring the necessary glue skills into play, so that his advanced star-type skills can be put to use. Morez Johnson Jr is our first prospect from Michigan this week and immediately stands out one of the most versatile defensive players we have ever scouted, as well as one of the most efficient offensive players. Patrick Ngongba II is a sophomore from Duke who does all the right things from a 6'11" big man: he can attack the rim, he can defend inside the perimeter....And he can pass from hub positions like a madman with fascinating creativity. And he's got more than flashes of shooting touch, and great fluidity to match. He's an intriguing big to watch for this draft season, and this class just keeps getting better.
