The boys kick off 180 with news that Activision declined on letting Spielberg have full creative control on a CALL OF DUTY movie. Paramount Skydance is looking to acquire Warner Brothers, with the boys ringing the alarm on why it's bad.The two also talk about how the Ellison led Paramount has denounced the actors who have stood with Palestine. Brandon also drops news that Texas wants to ban anime.   Jeff watches THE HOME.   Brandon watches the first four episodes of ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING Season 5, episode 7 of the second season of PLATONIC, and the season 3 finale of FOUNDATION.   The two then discuss the latest episodes of ALIEN: EARTH and TASK.
Brandon and Jeff kick off 179 with news that Sir Michael Caine will be coming out of retirement for Vin Diesel's THE LAST WITCH HUNTER 2.   The two then go through their watches including the latest episode of ALIEN: EARTH with news on Fede Alverez's depature on the ROMULUS sequel, the first episode of TASK, the last few episodes of TWISTED METAL Season 2, the last 4 episodes of WEDNESDAY Season 2, the DOCTOR ODYESSEY finale, and episode 3 of PEACEMAKER Season 2.
Jeff sits down with Jordan Gonzalez of the highly anticipated film adaptation of  "The Long Walk".
In Episode 178, Brandon and Jeff review Francis Lawrence's THE LONG WALK based on the book of the same name by Stephen King.

177 gets right into watches.   Jeff and Brandon discuss PEACEMAKER Season 2, Episode 2. Jeff then discusses the  BATMAN re-release in Dolby Cinema, LONG STORY SHORT, AMERICAN GODFATHERS: THE FIVE FAMILIES, and SMOKE.   The two talk about Episode 3 of  ALIEN: EARTH.   Brandon gives a quick shout to Deftones for their new PRIVATE MUSIC as well as Freddie Gibbs and The Alchemist's new album ALFREDO 2.   Brandon finishes DEMON SLAYER ahead of the new film dropping soon, finishes the new season of KING OF THE HILL, continues TWISTED METAL Season 2, starts PLATONIC Season 2 and FOUNDATION Season 3.
For the final part of episode 171, Brandon revisits THE FINAL RECKONING in IMAX, reviews DANGEROUS ANIMALS,    The two then review KARATE KID: LEGENDS, PREDATOR: KILLER OF KILLERS, BALLERINA, the live-action HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON remake in IMAX, THE OLD GUARD 2, 40 ACRES, and M3GAN 2.0.   Brandon then finishes with a quick review of the 35mm print of Jordan Peele's US.  
In Episode 176, Brandon and Jeff discuss Hulu being rolled into Disney+ in 2026. They also discuss the rumors of David Ellison wanting Warner Brothers after the Paramount / Skydance merger. The two then talk about SHERK 5 moving from Christmas 2026 to June 2027.   Jeff watches the first three episodes of WEDNESDAY Season 2 with Brandon joining in as well (he's seen all four episodes), Jeff then discusses...   Brandon joins Jeff on a brief review of the first episode of Noah Hawley's ALIEN: EARTH.   Brandon watches DEMON SLAYER on Netflix, all four episodes of the Disney+ mini-series EYES OF WAKANDA, TWISTED METAL Season 2 so far, Season 2 of THE X-FILES, and the first half of the KING OF THE HILL revival.   Brandon then talks about the trailer for Josh Safdie's MARTY SUPREME.   Finally, Jeff reviews MY MOTHER"S MARRIAGE, Brandon then reviews K-POP DEMON HUNTERS and SPLITSVILLE. The third part of 171 starts off with Brandon going into the changes made to ELIO, the current state of Paramount. and the Astronomer CEO and head of H.R. caught having an affair at a Coldplay concert.   The two then talk trailers for RUN, SPRINGSTEEN: DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE, SPLITSVILLE, ROOFMAN, Yorgos Lanthimos' BUGONIA, HOPPERS, THE CAT IN THE HAT, MORTAL KOMBAT II, Luca Guadadino's AFTER THE HUNT, and Edgar Wright's re-adaptation of Steven King's THE RUNNING MAN.
In the second part of the elusive episode 171, the boys discuss Denis Villeneuve now hired to direct the next Bond film.They discuss the rumor of Sydney Sweeny being the next Bond girl before pivoting to Sydney's bar soap made with her bath water. And finally, the two discuss the ticket roll out for THE ODYSSEY IMAX 70mm.   The rest of the episode is dedicated to another What Have You Watched Lately? with Brandon's watches.

The two turn to Sydney Sweeny's new American Eagle and its race coding.    Jeff watches Rick & Morty (Season 8), Pushers (Channel 4), The Waterfront (Netflix), Smoke (Apple+), Heads of State (Amazon), Deep Cover (Amazon), Showgirls (HBO Max).   Brandon watches THE BEAR Season 4, starts a rewatch of THE X-FILES, and finishes with SORRY, BABY.   Brandon talks briefly about the newly released trailer for AVATAR: FIRE & ASH.   Finally, Brandon reviews OH, HI!.Jeff joins Brandon for a review of HAPPY GILMORE 2, Brandon reviews THE BAD GUYS 2, and the two end on a review for the legacy sequel THE NAKED GUN.

Their first in sixteen years.   Brandon then launches into a quick review for Paramount's SMURFS featuring Rhianna as Smurfette.   Brandon and Matthew do a spoiler review for the I KNOW WHAT DID LAST SUMMER legacy sequel.   Finally, the three end on a review of Ari Aster's fourth film EDDINGTON.
