The joy of Christmas is genuine, gigantic, transformational and given to all people of all nations. It is an enduring Joy that transcends our circumstances. We invite you to our third Advent Sunday Service led by Scott Hayden who will unpack for us the words of the angel, "I have good news of great joy that shall be for all people." The Joy we celebrate at Christmas is more than a feeling or reaction. It is an abiding assurance of God's love and it's living in the truth of His salvation. To truly rejoice, rehearse your reasons for joy and reflect on God's unfailing love.
Is true peace eluding you? Are stress, inner turmoil and anxiety robbing you of peace? Are you struggling with conflict? For our second Advent Sunday, ECB has the privilege of welcoming Dr. Nelson Estrada to offer a message called “The Peace of God”. We will learn of the promised peace the Messiah brings to the world, and how we can avail ourselves of it.God’s peace is not a blanket guarantee for all humanity, but rather a profound gift offered to “people of goodwill”. The peace of Christmas originates from the Prince of Peace – God with us, Who graciously gives it to those who welcome God’s message, trust in His promises, and open their hearts to His love.
Where do you turn when life feels uncertain? This week, Pastor Pablo will launch the Advent Season with a sermon series on the theme, “Peace on Earth."
