Jon Reads Comics

Clinton, Layne, and Jon muddle their way through the second part of the TMNT/Mutanimals crossover in Mighty Mutanimals 6 (once Jon gets the issue right on the show) from Archie Comics! Then it’s time for vampires and mad highway speedsters in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 29 and 30 from Mirage!

Yes, Layne and Jon are doing a THIRD episode on IDW’s The Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers, this time looking at the new story content included in the hardcover collection published in 2012! This includes the scenes cut from “Bullets”, collectively known as “Out of Bullets”, and the prose story “Zero Point”, as well as the short comics “Escape” and “In Word and Deed”.

Jon reads Action Comics 263 (1960) and talks about it!

Spock is duplicated in a transporter accident, and one insists the other must die. There are no indications of a puppy doing cosplay, though. After that original novel, Jon and Blaine look at the next three collections of episodes adapted into short stories by James Blish.

Grey 17 is missing, but our coverage of the episode is not. Join Jon and Blaine as we look at a somewhat notorious episode of Babylon 5.
