Spout Lore is a hilarious Actual Play podcast using the Dungeon World game system, brought to life by four award-winning comedians in Canada. If you're looking for a collaborative storytelling experience that balances high fantasy with side-splitting improv comedy, you’ve found it.
Join three "mighty" "heroes" (Tuk the Barbarian, Vyng the half-elf Druid, and Fat Billie the nine-year-old Halfling Thief) as they bumble through a post-magic world. This is a rules-light, character-driven journey where the setting is made up on the fly; evolving from ancient hotdog-based festivals to mythic beasts of terrible power. Whether you’re a TTRPG veteran or a fan of D&D comedy podcasts like The Adventure Zone, NADDPOD, or Dimension 20, you’ll feel right at home at our table.
Spout Lore is improvised narrative at its best: made FOR best friends, BY best friends!

does anyone else just have a silent episode or is that just me

This weird little podcast is the best actual play pod I've ever listened to. It balances absurdity and creativity so well it's actually difficult to explain how good it is to listen to. It's gotten me through to bad retail jobs and into the best years of my life. It's genuinely a solid pod and my favorite one to find new episodes of. Plus it's really hard to stay sad when I know there are Fire Bees in this world because of them. 5 outta 5, absolutely would recommend.
cute new logo!
song at the end
this is my favourite podcast. it's just so funny and I love all the players so much. it's really addictive. Best time playing game ever aired. dungeon world, for those that don't know is just like DnD, but the player choices are simplified and what's lost in complexity is more than made up for in spontaneous world building. Essentially it's DnD where improve is encouraged and jeans to some very funny tid bits that become canon. A true delight.
Ho-lee shit. What a masterpiece of an episode.
I don't listen to podcasts, but this one definitely has me looking forward to the next episode.
Holy shit, that was amazing
Best Dungeon World podcast there is! And one of the best tabletop role-playing podcasts you'll ever find!
