As summer officially begins (remember Fete de la Musique = first day of summer!!) I highlight a few things happening in and around Paris. Some things I find *chic* and others I find *cringe.* There's also an important and exciting moment on the horizon for the fashion world just before les vacances commence. A slew of new designers are set to take over in Paris. This change begins at the end of June with J. W. Anderson's first show for Dior Homme followed by the last studio-designed Chanel Couture show before Matthieu Blazy takes over in the fall.
