Archive | Pioneer Portfolio | Nusoulhub RadioCopyright Credit: Nusoulhab RadioICYMI: “Music has a way of connecting people. No matter your walk of life, your age, your status, your career, your educational background, your habits, your weaknesses, your strengths - you can be united with strangers through music. And I love that. I love how two people can stand next to each other, and not even speak the same language, yet still be able to communicate. Still be able to smile and laugh and sing together. Still be able to dance and throw their hands in the air and know that the person next to them is feeling the same thing: pure bliss.”Ref:Original Link: m.soundcloud.com/nusoulhubradi...uld-not-be-said —Nusoulhub Radio | SOE Africa This is a public episode. Parts Of Everything | Extra Content | No. 004Tagline:I remember how much you loved this very first tape I curated back in 2015! To actually think more over about it — I don't think I would have selected better records (tracks) than this. I mean, you were the first (and only) person that heard it and definitely knew what you have done to me. You used to babysit me with House Music, no wonder I fell in love with being a Collector myself. I still remember vividly how you'd play me latest record' releases from labels like Soul Candi, House Afrika and Kalawa Jazzme. Not to forget the compilations you (and your close friends) made me to listen to, and has absolutely have nurtured the selector that I am today! The motive was to release something new… like to curate some mix due to your passing but I would find myself in tears instead… then bump into the records you owned in your archives, then found this tape. I recall how you actually loved this tape! So, I decided to remastered it, as reminiscing good memories of an awesome Uncle you have been in unto my life. As time has passed and we are suddenly here now - x 1 as I miss you more each and everyday - every day going forward. To You, Stiv… Thank You for staying by my side all this time and for guiding me in the right direction and your ways. You will forever remain in my heart and thoughts, forever! Parts Of Everything | Extra Content | No. 003Tagline:I really can’t say thank you enough to express how grateful I am for everything you have done for me. You have made a huge impact on my life... and to actually think about it, I do not think I would be the person I am today if it wasn’t for your teachings and guidance. I thank God for your life and everything else you have done, through arts, music and someone to talk to in times of trouble and pain. As an Uncle, a mentor and also a friend… You have taught me to appreciate the small moments and to not rush through this life thing. And thus far, it has taught me that the smallest acts of kindness can sometimes be the most monumental; things like genuinely asking how someone’s day is going. What puzzles me more is your passion to make a difference in the world is unbelievable. You put your heart and soul into your endeavors and surpass any personal goal you could have set. Watching you do what you love and making a difference in the lives of others is an incredible experience I will forever remember, and to definitely live up to your steps.I hope that one day I can have just as much passion you have. I feel that more people should strive to have the strength and passion that you exemplify in everyday life. I have never been more proud to know someone and to call someone my role model, Uncle and an awesome friend. You have taught me so many things, and for that…, I want to thank you! Thank you for inspiring me. Thank you for making me want to be a better person, too.But most importantly, thank you for being yourself. Thank you for saving my life, and this one goes to you. Hope you’ll like it.PS: An Appreciation Mix To Clive Bean,K! This is a public episode. Parts Of Everything | The Guest Mix No. 11—Copyright Credit: Journey To The Blak LifeICYMI: “... there was a moment in time I had worked with C-Blak for some few projects he was busy with during his first releases. Even though I was more on backing up and a song writer, I did gain a lot from him during those three - five months of working together. And we have a lot of projects we have done that are still unreleased with him, and hopefully soon. So I was honored to curate a guest mix for his podcast show. Parts Of Everything | The Guest Mix No. 09—Copyright Credit: Helmet Cracker MovementICYMI: “Guiding us on this Intermission will be station commanders Carter & Glenn Hobbs accompanied by the return of one of our trusted log coordinator, Mosiwa Sawa; as well as mission specialist Kamohelo Hlasa. As usual, this odyssey caters for the variety of those aboard the HCM USS. Featuring a mash of Disco, Breaks and New Jack Swing from The Therapist; A vibrating compound of Trip-Hop and Chillout from The Mad Chemist as he expands his nature of experimenting; A soothing Deep House dish from return guest Mosiwa Sawa; as well as an upbeat fusion of Soulful & Deep House from Kamohelo Hlasa. Although this odyssey is recommended for a laid back mood or vibe, we do advise that a helmet be worn throughout the Intermission. We also advise that should this symposium be played/shared to those who are not quite familiar with the mandate, do advise they get themselves a helmet first and give us a swift follow on: Instagram: helmetcrackermovement // Utopia Spacecruise Sounds"Original Episode Links:Helmet Cracker Movement 029 [Intermission] Mixed by Tshidiso Carter Makoti hearthis.at/z96ntmyr/-intermis...mixed-by-carterHelmet Cracker Movement 029 [Intermission] Mixed by Glenn Hobbs Rawthentic hearthis.at/z96ntmyr/-intermis...-by-glenn-hobbsHelmet Cracker Movement 029 [Intermission] Mixed by Mosiwa Samuel Kabeka hearthis.at/z96ntmyr/-intermis...-by-mosiwa-sawaHelmet Cracker Movement 029 [Intermission] Mixed by Kamohelo Hlasa hearthis.at/z96ntmyr/-intermis...-kamohelo-hlasaArtwork by Shervaan Bergsteedt—POE Verified Hosted on Acast. Parts Of Everything | The Guest Mix No. 03 — Copyright Credit: Chill Sessions ICYMI: I remember curating this tape for Chill Sessions right after getting released from Muelmed Mediclinic in Pretoria, coming from a terrible trauma that left me paralyzed... and from that monent, I never thought I would play music until on this particular day. It's filled with some unreleased tunes from way back and a bit of art mixed as the intro of what I was going through at that time. And today I am glad I stood out of my comfort zone and did it like never before. Please do grab a copy below, but rather than that, I really hope you will enjoy this set. Parts Of Everything | The Guest Mix No. 02 — Copyright Credit: Meet Me Underground ICYMI: In this guest mix, there isn't much of exclusive tunes at all, just transitions between different pieces. But that's what I love about it. It doesn't just sound like one of those mixes with new hot tunes but rather with heart and soul. It sounds like Kamohelo made you a mixtape for your drive home from work. The talent in this isn't as much about the mixing as it is about the song selection itself. This mix is one big melting pot of disco (hard disco) that place a lot of emphasis on the background music I hold within - rather meet me underground, you won't be disappointed.
