Woke is out at the Department of War, and higher fitness standards are back. Since being sworn in as secretary, Pete Hegseth has acted to “removed the distractions” from the department, including getting rid of “political correctness” and “DEI offices.”
“No more dudes in dresses,” Hegseth said during a recent speech, adding, “we are restoring a ruthless, dispassionate, and common-sense application of standards.”
Amid the Department of War's implementation of common-sense politics and higher fitness standards, more women have chosen to enlist in the U.S. military.
Over the summer, the Department of War, which was recently renamed from the Department of Defense, announced about 24,000 women were shipped off to basic training in fiscal year 2025, up from about 16,700 in 2024.
Women want to be held to high standards, and that includes in military fitness, Pentagon press secretary Kingsley Wilson says on this week’s edition of “Problematic Women.”
Wilson joins the show to pull back the curtain on life at the Pentagon under Hegseth’s leadership, and explain the departments aggressive strategy behind defeating narco-terrorists.

The horrific slaughter of Christians in Nigeria has caught the attention of President Donald Trump and the United States government.
Trump has tapped Rep. Riley Moore, R-W.V., to provide a report about the situation unfolding in Nigeria, where estimates place the number of slaughtered Christians well over 50,000 since 2009, with more than 7,000 of these deaths having occurred in 2025 alone.
In Congress, Moore was one of the first voices drawing attention to the intensifying atrocities committed against Christians in Nigeria, and he joins “The Signal Sitdown” this week to discuss.
“Nigeria is the most dangerous countries on the face of the planet to be a Christian,” Moore told The Daily Signal. “This has been happening for a very long time, and it's getting worse and worse and worse every year.”

John F. Kennedy once said; “Victory has 100 Fathers and Defeat is an Orphan.” He may have left out the part where defeat has many cousins ready to tell you what went wrong.
The secret to growing from a defeat is being able to cull the appropriate lessons from the multitude of offerings of analysis. Such is the story of Virginia’s GOP and the defeats suffered State-wide and in the House of Delegates. One rule of thumb is to seek out people with first-hand experience during the defeat because they might often have real direct experience with where “the train started to come off the rails.”
Such is the story of Scott Pio, he is the Loudon County GOP chair. Glenn Youngkin’s gains in his county helped propel him to the Governors’ Mansion in 2021. Now he’s demanding leadership changes within the statewide party and we sit down with him to talk about what he wants to see happen and what he’s prepared to do if it doesn’t change.

Who would have thought Representatives and Senators would encourage mutiny and sedition in the armed forces. Arrest and treat them like the J6 folks. Many of them were tried for sedition.

Just because they weren't all convicted criminals don't mean the other arrested detainees weren't aiding and abetting by interfering with the arrests as they typically do in Chicago.
Tucker isn't the only one of the supposed conservative media darlings, who after going "independent" seemed to have had a change of heart on conservative policy after attracting the attention of specific large foreign investment influencer interests. Correlation isn't causation, but the timing of these sell outs combined with the policy pivots does warrant consideration.

In order to reduce expense, points of inefficiency must be reduced, but I suspect that this is a non-starter with the dimocrat insurance lobby.
There is a lot of discussion about data, but data doesn't win elections. Messaging competently a strong vision with solid policy prescriptions for a better societal future can. Delivering on that vision will win future elections. Look to what the Governor of FL has accomplished.
The GOP needs to get back to the basics of TEA party movement policies. The current "populist" center-left croniest venture socialism policy approach really doesn't reach voters. Voters now have a choice between center-left weak venture socialism and extreme leftist hard core communism. Of the small number of voters attracted by this pathetic choice, the real hard core deal will win out over the weak fake everytime.

if the filtering and or correcting necessary in all movements needs to be done now is a good time to do it not during the midterms. I hope Candice and Tucker and so many others who are not being as careful as they should be, who aren't wisely storing their platform, like you Mr Hanson, will turn around, or at least reconsider their positions or at least their techniques. I do not think they are on The winning side of this argument nor is this argument they are making productive.
