Unsurprisingly, McLaren win the 2025 Formula 1 Constructors' Championship, equaling Red Bull Racing's record of least races taken to win the teams' title. Surprisingly, George Russell scored his first win around the streets of Singapore - building on a classic pole lap from Saturday. He was unmatched on Sunday, as Max Verstappen, in second, couldn't charge further, and held back the "faster" McLaren of Lando Norris. The Ferrari duo struggled with brake wear issues with Lewis Hamilton picking up a post-race time penalty of 5 seconds. Fernando Alonso, who was furious with Hamilton's "track limit" violations had a feisty race with a slow pit stop. Carlos Sainz went from P18 to the points after Alexander Albon's team work helped keep Liam Lawson at bay. 6, if not 7, drivers racing in the 2024 Formula 1 Season will be enjoying a farewell at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, Franco Colapinto, Kevin Magnussen, Zhou Guanyu, Valtteri Bottas...and maybe, Sergio Perez? And of course, three drivers haven't had a farewell in 2024 - Daniel Ricciardo, Logan Sargeant and Esteban Ocon. Luckily, we will see OCO back in Formula 1 with Haas in a tyre test after Abu Dhabi. In this episode of the Inside Line F1 Podcast,  @f1statsguru  and Kunal Shah preview the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. 9 out of the last 12 races have been won from pole, and 11 (of these 12) have been won from the front row. Half of the 10 Constructors' Championship standings could change after this Sunday's race - McLaren vs. Ferrari for P1, while Alpine, Haas and Racing Bulls are battling for P6. The lesser hyped battle is the one for P2 in the Drivers' Championship between Lando Norris and Charles Leclerc. Could Norris go from battling Max Verstappen for P1 to losing P2 to Leclerc? This is the 2024 Formula 1 season and stranger things have happened. But for everyone's sake (and sanity), let's hope that all battles are settled fairly and justly...and without the intervention of the FIA. Tune in! The 2026 F1 season is a full reset, and the fun part is how quickly teams will try to stretch the wording. In this first short episode of the season, we break down what the new regulation set is really aiming to change, and what it could mean for the way F1 actually races: power unit priorities, driver modes, and why aero conversations are about to sound very different. And yes, we also get into the first big “everyone’s watching this” storyline of the new era: the compression ratio debate and the kind of interpretation battles the FIA wants resolved before lights out in Australia. If you’re trying to get ahead of the 2026 noise before launches and testing, this is your clean primer. Yes, we are stirring the pot. But was Lando Norris on anyone's list of favourites for the F1 2025 World Champion? And yes, we ask this while celebrating Norris' crowning glory. Could Max Verstappen have done something "different" to win the race, but also the title? And what about Oscar Piastri? Soumil Arora, Sundaram Ramaswami and Kunal Shah discuss the upcoming 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on the Inside Line F1 Podcast. #F1 #F12025 #AbuDhabiGP #MaxVerstappen #LandoNorris #OscarPiastri Learn more about your ad choices. It's all happening in Abu Dhabi, and our man Kunal Shah is on-site. Will it be Lando Norris, or will it be Max Verstappen? And of course, can Oscar Piastri do anything of his outside chance to win? Yes, McLaren-Lando Norris need to do better to handle the pressure, but what about the Race Control? The last time the title battle went down to the wire saw Race Control interpret the regulations differently and on-the-fly! The 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix brings an end to an era that included ground-effect aerodynamics, hybrid-turbo power units, the (wretched) DRS and of course, the legendary team called Sauber. Max Verstappen is making McLaren toil harder than anyone imagined to clinch their first Drivers' World Championship since 2008. After the 2025 Qatar GP, Max Verstappen, Oscar Piastri & Lando Norris are all tied on 7 race wins apiece. Given the way the season has gone, which driver actually deserve the 2025 F1 Drivers' Championship more? Carlos Sainz scored another podium on merit for Williams, Ferrari's struggles and did Kimi Antonelli let Norris drive past in the last laps to the end? Soumil Arora and Kunal Shah discuss the 2025 Qatar Grand Prix on the Inside Line F1 Podcast. #F1 #F12025 #QatarGP #MaxVerstappen #LandoNorris #OscarPiastri #McLaren Learn more about your ad choices. Lando Norris' first proper chance to clinch the Drivers' Championship of the 2025 Formula 1 season. Will he clinch it on his first attempt, or will the title battle go down to the wire in Abu Dhabi? In Las Vegas, Norris was frazzled by Max Verstappen on the front row. Will this trend continue in Qatar? And btw, have we all resigned to the fate that Oscar Piastri won't be crowned F1 World Champion in 2025? Qatar will be the final "Sprint and Grand Prix" format of the F1 2025 season. Traditionally, Red Bull Racing has struggled to get their car in optimal working range when there is just one FP1 session. Given their plank woes, will McLaren suffer similar fate i.e. require more "track time" to find the accurate ride height to race with? How aggressive will McLaren go, or will they be conservative given Norris' 24-points lead at the top of the table? The battle for P6 in the Constructors' Championship is another one to watch. A lot of money is at stake and we expect teams and drivers to throw everything at it. 📢 F1 journalists & bloggers — if you quote this interview, please credit: Inside Line F1 Podcast. Guenther's opinion is that Red Bull doesn't need Checo's $, but Max likes a driver that doesn't challenge him.

What is it between you and Jacques Villeneuve? Seriously you sound like a frustrated ex gf. When you know how much he has achieved in racing compared to you guys put together it is difficult not to shocked by your condescendence.

I think it is quite optimistic to expect the F1 Grand Prix to start in June. if you look at the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic in europe and in the USA I I can't begin to understand how one could hope it would start before September.

I’ve been following this Inside Line F1 Podcast, and it absolutely fantastic. Their pronunciations are off sometimes but the content is funny, engaging and thoroughly entertaining and at the same time keeps me updated on what’s happening so who cares! The content is so well researched too. Big fan. I look forward to it on the train each week. Totally worth the time. If you’re uptight about pronunciations stay away otherwise go for it.

I do not enjoy this podcast. The presenters cannot say most of the drivers, cars or team principals names correctly such as 'Wettel' not 'Vettel' and 'Arrivaben' instead of 'Arrivabene'. This is also marketed as an F1 podcast but love to talk about FE (which I like the sport but is on the whiny podcast). The insights are very basic and makes me wonder how much 'inside' knowledge they have as suggested by the name of the show
