In this episode of The David Greene Show: Real Talk Real Estate, David Greene sits down with real estate investor, entrepreneur, and financial coach Devon Jarvis (DJ) for a real, grounded conversation about military discipline, money, and financial freedom. After meeting at BPCON, Devon shares his nearly 20-year journey in the U.S. Air Force, starting with enlisting out of high school, commissioning through ROTC, and eventually flying unmanned attack aircraft, including the confidence-building moment of his first solo flight. He explains how becoming a parent pushed him into financial coaching and shaped his belief that mindset is the true starting point for building wealth. Together, they talk through why fear and failure derail so many people, the difference between a poor mindset and a rich mindset, and why creating real value, not chasing free handouts, is what the market rewards, while also offering practical insight into goal setting, money habits, and defining what a rich life actually looks like.
