Hot Take
Earlier this month, Liam Boudin and Tim Vincent made their World Championship debut, proudly representing Australia in the marathon at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
After years of training side-by-side, these boys shared a dream few get to realise: making their senior debut together, in the same event, on the world stage. Their selection was a milestone moment — made all the more remarkable by the adversity they faced in the lead-up. Both Liam and Tim battled through serious injuries in the months before the race, showing incredible grit and determination just to make the start line in the green and gold.
In this episode, Liam and usual co-host Tim sit down with Jordo to reflect on the full journey — from the unforgettable phone call announcing their selection, to the finish line embrace, and everything in between.
We couldn’t be prouder of these two and all they’ve achieved. We hope this episode serves as a lasting memento of their extraordinary journey — something they (and all of us) can look back on for years to come.
With Tim soaking up the summer on a Japanese Island, the boys regroup to reflect and congratulate Tim for a quick recap on his first World Championship experience.
Tim quickly runs through the jist of the race and how great the golden arches in the land of the rising sun.
Jordo gets sweaty on the stair master and rounds up some office nicknames
Kaz gives Tim some fun facts about his most recent Japanese location and rates tea's...
