Each of these seven ghost stories comes from a real home, with firsthand accounts of experiences that witnesses still can’t fully explain. From a garden refit that may have angered the long-passed, to unexplained bruises that appeared overnight, each of these stories centres around a home where something didn’t want to be ignored. To my knowledge, these are not creepypasta or fictional horror stories. Every story in this video comes directly from someone’s own claimed experience. Make of them what you will. For nearly 150 years, Bodmin Jail was the kind of place you entered through those imposing gates, and prayed you’d one day leave again. Because not everyone did. And perhaps this is the reason why the now-luxury hotel and visitor attraction is said to be haunted by former inmates, staff, and possibly… something far darker. Bodmin jail has stood since 1779, and in that time, it saw almost 150 years of suffering before it closed its doors for good. To this day, people who stay in the now-converted luxury hotel, or visit the attraction, will claim to experience things they can’t explain. The Queen Mary is believed by some to be haunted by up to 600 ghosts… And while we have historical records for some, other backstories just don’t quite add up. Before the ghost tours and the paranormal reports, the RMS Queen Mary had already lived through a history so dramatic, that it's no wonder she's said to be haunted. From a luxury ocean liner, to a WW2 troopship, this legendary ship accidentally sank a Royal Navy cruiser, survived a 92-foot rogue wave, and hosted world leaders, celebrities, and soldiers before her retirement to Long Beach, California. If you only know of the ghost stories about the Queen Mary, you've only heard half the story! The desecrated church in Clophill became a magnet for vandals, morbid thrill-seekers, and possibly even devil worshippers. But decades later, strange lights, ghostly figures, and an oppressive energy still leave many explorers running for their car. Are the ghost stories proof of something darker still haunting Clophill, or are they just a product of the satanic panic that overtook the area in the 60s? In the quiet Bedfordshire village of Clophill sits the ruins of a desecrated church that looks unassuming nowadays, but it has a terrifying past. In the 1960s and 70s, rumours of devil worship, black magic rituals, and grave desecration spiralled into a full-blown satanic panic that almost destroyed the village rector. But was it all just bored teenagers and mindless vandals tormenting the village of Clophill, or was something truly evil going on here? ⚠️ This one is very dark, with some pretty graphic descriptions involving animals, as well as mentions of sexual assault and murder. If that’s not your thing, maybe give this one a miss.
