On today's episode we kick off Spooky Season with the horror cult classic 'Halloween III: Season of the Witch.' Released in 1982, starring Tom Atkins, Stacey Nelkin, and Dan O'Herlihy, the film departs from the slasher genre of the other installments in the Halloween franchise, instead featuring a witchcraft theme with science fiction aspects. E.R. Dr. Daniel "Dan" Challis (Tom Atkins) and Ellie Grimbridge (Stacey Nelkin), the daughter of a murder victim, uncover a terrible plot by small-town mask maker Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), a madman who's planning a Halloween mass sacrifice of millions of children utilizing an ancient Celtic ritual. So be in front of your TV sets for the Horror-thon. And remember the Big Giveaway at nine. Don't miss it. And don't forget to wear your masks. The clock is ticking. It's almost time.
