Despite trailing 107-103 with a little over three minutes left, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat used a late 14-0 run to win a crucial game against the Philadelphia 76ers in a game that could have significant playoff ramifications.
Herro led the Heat with 30 points on 12-24 shooting, including some clutch shots down the stretch. Adebayo added 23 points, 16 rebounds and six assists, with Pelle Larsson chipping in with 20.
Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 26 points and seven rebounds, albeit on just 10-25 shooting. Tyrese Maxey added 23, Paul George 19 and VJ Edgecombe 13.

VJ Edgecombe and Justin Edwards both set new career-highs on Thursday night, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a blowout win over DeMar DeRozan, Russell Westbrook and the Sacramento Kings.
VJ Edgecombe finished with 38 points and 11 assists, becoming just the fourth rookie in Sixers history to finish a game with 30+ points and 10+ assists. It was Edgecombe’s first 30+ point game since he dropped 34 on the Boston Celtics on opening night. Edwards finished with 32 points, well above his previous career-high of 25. Edwards and Edgecombe were a +47 and +44 in the win, respectively.
Their standout performances gave the Sixers a crucial win, as they try to avoid the play-in tournament with a strong finish down the stretch. They should be bolstered by the return of Joel Embiid, who was doubtful for this game before being ruled out following a workout earlier today.
