As the NCAA Tournament is well underway, Rick Pitino and the St. John’s Red Storm knocked off Kansas on Sunday and is advancing to take on Duke in the Sweet 16. As Rick Pitino has had some battles against Duke across his storied career, none may be more famous than when Christian Laettner knocked off Pitino’s Kentucky Wildcats at the buzzer in 1992. Now, almost 35 years later after Laettner’s shot, Pitino is meeting Duke again in the NCAA Tournament. Will St. John’s be able to knock off Duke at the buzzer in Washington, D.C. on Friday night?
