Today's 94 WIP Midday Show previewed the Eagles-Raiders matchup this Sunday. It raised the question of whether or not the Eagles struggling offense will finally break out. Former NFL GM Mike Mayock joined the show to discuss what is going on with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense. He says that he has always been a fan of Hurts both as a player and a person. Former Heisman Trophy winners Robert Griffin III and Mark Ingram also joined the program and had their takes on the situation. Griffin III says that Hurts should garner more respect from his peers and Ingram thinks the Eagles needs to put their individual egos to the side for the good of the team. In hour 1, the 94 WIP Midday Show are asking if you expect the Eagles offense to breakout on Sunday against the Raiders. Joe Giglio is expecting the Birds to finally show some offensive life while Hugh Douglas and Kyle Quinn remain low on expectations. Mike Mayock joined the show to discuss the state of the Eagles. He said that he has always been a fan of both Jalen Hurts the player and Jalen Hurts the person. He also points to the health of the offensive line and the quality of the defense as factors in what we have seen from the Eagles so far this season.
In hour 2, the 94 WIP Midday Show react to the "positivity pledge" that the afternoon show has proposed to Eagles fans attending Sunday's game. Joe Giglio prefers the fans to be realistic and to cheer and boo when it is appropriate. Hugh Douglas says that the fans have the right to boo if the team continues to play poorly. The guys also further their discussions about the Eagles offense, hoping it will break out on Sunday against a bad Raiders team. Jalen Hurts' play is heavily discussed as always.
Former Heisman Trophy winners Robert Griffin III and Mark Ingram join the 94 WIP Midday Show to discuss the Eagles, the NFL, and College Football. Griffin III says that there needs to be an appreciation for Jalen Hurts' greatness and that he deserves more respect. He also says that anyone questioning the QB and distracting the team needs to get out of the building. Ingram entertains the idea of trading Jalen Hurts for Joe Burrow. He also says that the onus is on the Eagles players to start executing the offense and performing better. He also notices that there are trust and camaraderie issues within the team.

They also continue to preview Eagles-Raiders, with Hugh Douglas expects the Eagles to win but not to improve upon their struggling offense. He believes that their ceiling is 21 points. They give their input on what the Eagles are dealing with and how they can improve. Griffin III says that Jalen Hurts' greatness needs to be appreciated and that he should be getting more respect. Ingram says that the Eagles players need to put their egos to the side if they want to start playing better and that it is on them to execute on offense.
Hugh Douglas of the 94 WIP Midday Show went off on a caller saying that what the Eagles and Jalen Hurts have accomplished in the past is no longer relevant and does not matter. He stresses that last year is not this year. Joe Giglio says that Jalen Hurts has not given Eagles fans anything positive over the last five weeks. There may be some doubt creeping in about Hurts and his relationship with new offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo.
The 94 WIP Midday Show continues to preview the Eagles-Raiders matchup this Sunday. Hugh Douglas says that the offense scoring around 20 points is only acceptable if they win the game. He also has a strong message for those criticizing his analysis of the play of Jalen Hurts recently. Joe Giglio thought that Hurts has graduated past this stretch of poor play. Eliot Shorr-Parks, on with the morning show, fears that the Eagles offense will not look any better this Sunday.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing the pledge that the afternoon show has proposed to Eagles fans going to the game Sunday. The pledge is to not boo or do anything negative for the entire first quarter. Joe Giglio and Hugh Douglas are pledging against the pledge, saying that the fans have the right to boo when it is warranted. Joe Giglio urges fans to be realistic and to cheer when necessary and boo when necessary. Hugh Douglas points out that more interceptions will happen when the offense tries to open up.
Former NFL GM Mike Mayock joins the 94 WIP Midday Show to discuss what is going on with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles. Mayock says that he is not ready to say Jalen Hurts is in a slump and has always seen him as a top-12 QB. He says that Hurts has skills and intangibles that other QB's don't have. Mayock also points to the offensive line being hurt as a reason why the offense is struggling. He also highlights how the defense will need to continue carrying the Eagles to wins.
The 94 WIP Midday Show are discussing the recent woes that the Eagles offense has gone through. This upcoming game against the Raiders could be a good opportunity for the offense to get right. The five turnovers against the Chargers may have masked some progress that the Eagles offense was making. The Raiders present a matchup where the Eagles should have success running the ball and putting points on the board.
