The Red Sox made their first big trade of the offseason, acquiring starting pitcher Sonny Gray from the Cardinals. Is it a good trade? Will he be the best addition they make to their rotation, or will there still be a bigger move coming?
From 'Play Tessie' (subscribe here): Gordo, Sammy, and Pat go in depth on the big news of the day with the Red Sox trading for Cardinals' starter Sonny Gray. How does Gray fit in the rotation and was trading Richard Fitts and Brandon Clarke the right price? Also, with Gray's contract being modified it doesn't seem that this is the big name Craig Breslow would want to add (they thought nervously). And, the rotation was addressed and now the big focus is about the power in the lineup.
