Description

The Lovely Co. is my little blog that I began many years ago where I would write and share the messages God placed on my heart. The name comes from Philippians 4 when the Word of God tells us to think on things that are lovely.

My goal is to share the love of Jesus to the world and to make sure everyone in my window of influence knows that He is GOOD!

Over at the Lovely Co., we are busy creating resources that strengthen how children read and what they read. This podcast today is sharing all of the things we are working on within the Lovely Co. right now and the dream that we have to see children and adults build their Biblical literacy skills. We hope that you will LOVE the resources!
Recently released my first ever published Bible study on the book of Ruth called Running on Empty. This series will be walking through the sections of Ruth together as we slowly chew on the meat of God's Word together and get the most out of it. We hope you will grab your own copy available at the Mountain View Store, His Market (Coming Soon), and always on Amazon - just search Becca McDaniel and all of my books will appear.
We put a lot of emphasis on earthly things when it comes to planning out our futures... Goals and dreams can be great things AS LONG AS we recognize that the greatest goal in life is to spend eternity with Jesus Christ and help as many others get to do the same. Join us as we tackle this hard conversation.
Do you find yourself single? married? somewhere in between? This one is for you! Singleness, marriage, and those relationships in between are earthly things and this episode we dive into our own experiences and stories - we shed lots of tears, get super real, and are completely honest in what it means to be kingdom minded - even with our relationship status. Probably my favorite episode so far!
Join me as I sit down with two of my dearest friends and discuss setting our minds on things above. We will be having temporary conversations this season... and that begins by setting our minds on heavenly rather than earthly things.
Our final episode of season ONE and we are so grateful for you tuning in. This episode is honestly a rambling of my heart... However, we dive into Colossians 3 and we talk about being kingdom minded, being obedient, and sharing the GOSPEL. Hope you will enjoy + share it with others!
Today's episode gets a little personal... But I have hid, ran, and been ashamed of this gift for far too long. This is my story and I finally feel free to share it and hopefully to help others. *Disclaimer- I have no hard feelings with anyone from my past.. At least not any more. I was hurt and bitter for a very long time, but ever since realizing and understanding God's hand in my life, I've learned that it was all just part of God's plan and it actually makes me more grateful for those seasons and those times with those people in my life.
He is ABLE. He CAN. So why hasn't He yet? Let's tackle one of the hardest questions we may ask God.. "Why?"
An honest and heartfelt cry for union between the Young + Old of the Church. We are meant to be ONE for the cause of Christ!
"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." -Romans 12:2 May we begin this year with a renewed mindset. May we humble ourselves to see others the way in which God sees us and them. May we be passionate about loving others with the love of God.
"If you love Me, keep my commandments." John 14:15 What does love and blessings have to do with obedience to God? Well... Pretty much everything. Join us today on the Lovely Co. podcast as we discuss hearing from God and being obedient to Him.
Are you absolutely exhausted? Are you fighting burnout? God has commanded us to find rest in Him. In doing so, we will be renewed + restored. Join us for episode 4 of the Lovely Co. podcast as we discuss what it means to be obedient to God's command in finding rest in Him.
Ministry can be hard... It can also be scary, but when we shift our focus and see it for what it is, we are able to find the joy of walking in it.

The name comes from Philippians 4 when the Word of God tells us to think on things that are lovely. My goal is to share the love of Jesus to the world and to make sure everyone in my window of influence knows that He is GOOD! For a while now, it has really been on my heart to start a podcast to go along with the blogs... I kept using the excuse that I don't know what I'm doing.. but recently, God has reminded me that it doesn't matter if we know exactly what we're doing... He simply just calls us to be obedient to His calling. So here we are, episode ONE of the Lovely Co. podcast.
Many questions are asking, "Should I or shouldn't I celebrate Halloween?" However, the real question brings us back to our every day lives. A little scattered, but I hope you enjoy!
Why do we pray for the things we aren't ready to receive? God is too mighty for us to dream with ceilings & to pray for miracles we don't believe He will perform. It is God - ALL God.
The transformation of the Gospel and how it motivates us to go forward being the Church today!
Getting back into the groove.... and back into the heart of all things Lovely Co. It has been a while since I've been able to record, but here is a talk I recently shared to our church's women's ministry on "Getting Back into the Groove." Hope you enjoy!
