You have now repeatedly heard the message about the power of small and simple things bringing about something great. And now, I'm going to teach you the exact opposite. Here me out, dear one. As with many things in life, there's always more than one way to do something, and sometimes, taking the big leap is going to be what you need more than changing tiny things. In this episode we're talking about both approaches to growth: The big leap or tiny baby steps. Both can be effective if you know how and when to use them. And perhaps the most important question here, is which one do you currently need?Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Every one of us has something we’d like to improve. We often know change is needed—but change can feel overwhelming. Sometimes we wait for the perfect master plan we think will fix everything in one dramatic sweep. In today’s episode, I’ll share the guiding mantra that helps me—and those I mentor—know what to change and how to start. It’s simple: learn by experience. Or better yet, learn by experiment.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. As humans, we crave familiarity. Even when something isn't nourishing or healthy for us, if it's familiar, it can feel safer than stepping into the unknown. We might want something better, even hope for it—but without doing something different, real change remains elusive.Today’s episode is a gentle and honest exploration of how we can begin to shift. We’ll look at the patterns that may no longer be serving us, why we hold onto them, and how we can choose a new path—one rooted in compassion, awareness, and healing.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? We all know we have agency—the amazing ability to choose—but did you know that it can feel like a finite resource? Our ability to choose what is best for us is often harder than it should be. It all depends on the habits we cultivate in our daily life. Today we're going to take a little quiz to discover how reactive or proactive we are, and I’m going to share with you the two habits that have increased my agency the most.Agency is your ability to choose—but that capacity can fluctuate. Sometimes our agency feels strong, and other times, almost non-existent. How do we strengthen it?Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Let’s talk about decision fatigue—and how it sabotages our consistency. One of my favorite truths is: Doing is easy. Deciding is hard.Every time you leave a habit up to a daily decision, you are gambling with your willpower—and willpower is finite. Every single choice drains it just a little more. The secret? Make the decision once.Let’s talk about motivation—the kind that lasts.Surface-level reasons like “I should do this” or “everyone else is doing it” rarely stick. To build lasting habits, you need to find your why—and I mean the real one. The one that lives under your skin and anchors you when everything else feels hard.Try this: Ask yourself why you want a habit. Then ask why again. And again. Here’s an example:Why do I want to exercise? To be fit.Why do I want to be fit? To have more energy. Why do I want more energy? So I can be joyful and present with my family. That final why is your anchor. It’s personal. It’s real. And it matters.Let’s be real: you’re going to mess up. We all do. The real power of consistency isn’t about being perfect. It’s about your ability to begin again—kindly, compassionately, and quickly.Forgiveness is the bridge back to the path. This principle has become a cornerstone of my meditation practice. When your mind wanders, you gently return. No shame. No story. Just come back. Again and again.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Did you know that your personality type most definitely influences your approach to habits? We've all probably learned this the hard way in one degree or another, when we realize that worked for someone else most definitely doesn't work for us. The important element in this discovery is to not shame or judge ourselves or others when we simply need to figure out our own method to make things work. Understanding your natural tendency isn’t about putting yourself in a box—it’s about creating a container that actually supports the kind of growth you’re after.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Today's episode is about something powerful and deeply liberating: quitting. Ironic, given this series is about having consistency. But we may as well address this opposing element and explore how it might just provide some balance to the consistency you are really seeking. This isn't about quitting your dreams or your goals, but quitting the influences, habits, and patterns that quietly pull you away from who you truly are. Maybe for you, it’s a tangled relationship with food, caffeine, your phone, a certain relationship, or social media. We all have something. Welcome back to our series on consistency—not the kind that demands perfection, but the kind that honors presence. The kind that roots into something deeper than willpower.Today, we're talking about a virtue that’s often misunderstood: temperance. What comes to mind when you hear the word temperance?I always thought of temperance as self-discipline or restraint. A way of disciplining myself to make myself do the things that I knew I should do... but didn't really want to do.But what if we looked at temperance as a gentle art of staying in a loving relationship with ourselves when we feel the tug to escape? Especially when things get uncomfortable.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? While everyone loves the principle of floors and ceilings, most people immediately think of it for the habits they feel like they "should" be doing more consistently in life. Eat better. Exercise. Meditate. It always delights me to invite people to also create floors for the things that bring you joy. Joy is not extra. It's essential. It's one of the most regulating forces for your nervous system, and yet it's often the first thing we cut when life gets full. It’s so easy as our lives get busier to let go of the things we used to really love doing—our hobbies, creative pursuits, soul-nourishing friendships. We just don't have the time for those things...Or do we?Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Welcome to a mini-episode that deepens the practice of one of the most powerful concepts I teach: floors and ceilings. If you’re new to this idea—a floor is the smallest version of a habit, something you can do on even your hardest day. A ceiling is the ideal, the fullest expression of that habit when everything aligns perfectly. When we aim for the floor consistently, we create a life that’s flexible, forgiving, and powerfully sustainable.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Welcome to a brand new mini-series where we’re not chasing perfection—we’re practicing wholeness. This is about showing up for your real life, in real time, with gentleness, grace, and that quiet creative power you carry inside. And today, I want to share one of the most life-changing tools I’ve ever used to stay consistent in my habits—not just when everything is going well, but when life gets messy, schedules fall apart, or motivation disappears. It’s called "Floors and Ceilings."Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? In our last episode, we explored the sacred, spiral-shaped path of growth—how instead of expecting straight lines, we can honor the cyclical nature of life and choose to spiral up, not down. Today, we continue that journey by focusing on one of the most powerful practices in that upward spiral: your ability to turn things around. This is the pivot moment that determines whether we spiral down or we turn around. Whether it's a conversation, a habit, a relationship, or even the mood you're waking up in, your creative power to make a gentle, loving pivot is one of your greatest tools. Let's talk about what it means to turn things around—not from force or shame, but from love, wholeness, and the wisdom of your true self.Creator Meditation Library: Ready to move from inspiration to integration? Have you ever experienced a downward spiral? Those moments that knock you off course, and then it's all downhill from there? We all have our triggers that can set things in motion... what we don't always realize is the spiral can be traveled in two different directions. Do you ever feel overwhelmed by your lists? You know... the to-do list, or even that figurative list of "all the things I should or could be doing to improve my life"? Yeah, that list. When life feels overwhelming, it’s tempting to think we need to fix everything all at once—or that we’re somehow failing because things feel hard.
