Hailing from Germany, Phil comes from a long line of folks who specialized in the study of physics which eventually became his path when he started schooling. Having dealt with bullies in his past and needing a lesson in confidence, he began martial arts very young and that has led him to also having his black belt in judo as well as his purple belt in bjj!
