Gio and Jerry (subbing for Boomer) cover the Knicks’ win over the Celtics, the Yankees’ one-hit loss, and the Mets’ defensive failures. They analyze the first base void left by Pete Alonso and Gio's Masters celebrity rants before shifting to sports book recommendations and Dave Sims' broadcast gaffe. The Islanders' win, the Russini/Vrabel situation, Gary Player’s flirtatious interview, relationship stats, and a montage of Devils calls. Finally, the "Moment of the Day" blames Mike Francesa for a Masters collapse before we wrap it up with more Masters talk.
Gio with Jerry subbing for Boomer today start with the Knicks beating the Celtics minus Jaylen Brown. C-Lo highlights Josh Hart’s 26-point night, the Yankees one-hit by the A's, and the Mets' defense fails them against the Diamondbacks. Plus, Mike Francesa delivers a Masters "mush" before Gio ranks the WFAN hosts appearing at the live draft show.
The hour kicks off with the Mets’ defensive struggles involving Mark Vientos and Brett Baty, followed by the first base void left by Pete Alonso and a caller's critique of David Stearns. Gio vents about celebrities like Kevin Hart at the Masters before we hear Ian Eagle’s call of Josh Hart leading the Knicks past the Celtics. Finally, we recap the Yankees’ one-hit loss to the A’s, Bryson DeChambeau’s 3-D printed club, and Druski’s "Erika Kirk" skit.
Gio brings in sports books for Jerry and Eddie, followed by caller recommendations. C-Lo recaps the Knicks beating the Celtics at MSG, Dave Sims losing track of outs, and the Mets' loss despite a strong Nolan McLean start. We close with Matthew Schaefer’s goal in an Islanders win and a discussion on whether Dianna Russini can still do her job amid the Mike Vrabel situation.
90-year-old Gary Player calls a reporter a "good looking chick," - Gio mimics Player’s flirtatious banter. The guys discuss remarriage stats for some reason. Mike Brown on beating the Celtics and a montage of Devils calls. Finally, the "Moment of the Day" blames Mike Francesa for Robert MacIntyre’s poor Masters play before the hour wraps with more from Augusta.
C-Lo returns with Mike Brown after the Knicks win against the Celtics as they surpassed last year’s win total. We heard a great montage of Matt Loughlin and Chico Resch calls from last night’s Devils game. The Moment of The Day: Robert MacIntyre played terribly at the Masters, you can blame Francesa.

90 year old Gary Player was about to be interviewed on Sky Sports by Anna Jackson called her a ‘good looking chick’. We went from there.
C-Lo has the sounds of the Knicks beating the Celtics at MSG. We heard Dave Sims on the call as he lost track of outs for a second. Sounds of the Mets losing to the Diamondbacks as Nolan McLean had a great start and got nothing for it. Plus, Matthew Schaefer scoring in the Islanders win.
There’s a stack of sports books in the newsroom that Gio brought in to see if Jerry would read any of these. Eddie liked books on the USFL. Callers checked in with suggestions.
Gio is annoyed at the people at the Masters that shouldn’t be there. Guys like Kevin Hart and Jason Kelce. We heard Ian Eagle on the call as Josh Hart hit a big shot as the Knicks beat the Celtics. The Yankees only managed 1-hit as they lost to the A’s. Bryson DeChambeau talked about his 3-D printed club.
Players out of position IF there's one they're good at. Horrible defense. It's a mess.
C-Lo is here with the sounds of Josh Hart hitting a 3 for the Knicks. He scored 15 of his 26 in the fourth quarter. The Yankees lost to the A’s, 1-0, as the Yanks only got 1-hit. The Mets lost to the Diamondbacks as they were horrendous defensively. Mike Francesa gave a huge mush to Robert MacIntyre, saying he’s a guy to bet on for the Masters.
