We hear about the "cancerous" Jets atmosphere from Harrison Phillips, recap Matthew Stafford’s MVP win, and tackle everything from Jon Gruden’s lawsuit to Tom Brady’s alleged "thirst traps." We've even got Radio Row updates from Sam Darnold and Martha Stewart’s dating advice for Kay Adams. Plus, don't miss the Moment of the Day, lots of callers checking in, and our own jokes for NFL Honors.
The Knicks land Jose Alvarado. Maybe Giannis for next season? Matthew Stafford claims MVP honors while Harrison Phillips pulls back the curtain on a "cancerous" Jets atmosphere. Plus, Sauce Gardner’s coaching clashes and a major reunion on John Harbaugh’s staff.
Pats faithful and former teammates are up in arms over Tom Brady’s Super Bowl neutrality, but Gio isn't having it. Boomer’s feels "Joe Burrow vibes" from Jaxson Dart. Plus, Harrison Phillips’ direct message to the Jets fan base. Also, more from NFL Honors including Jon Hamm zingers for Jerry Jones.
We start with Jon Gruden’s legal war with the NFL, weird conspiracy theories surrounding Savannah Guthrie’s family, and even the local sanitation workers calling in. Also, the time Boomer gifted us with Super Bowl tickets, Sam Darnold and Harrison Phillips from Radio Row, and a caller on Tom Brady is officially posting "thirst traps."
We get a brief update about Boomer’s foundation before diving into the "embarrassing" Roger Goodell DJ set to a debate over Super Bowl party themes. Jerry has Matthew Stafford’s MVP win and his plans for next season, along with some unexpected dating advice from Martha Stewart to Kay Adams. Plus, Harrison Phillips delivers a "Moment of the Day" message to Jets fans, and we wrap things up by performing our own set of jokes for NFL Honors.
The Moment of The Day: Harrison Phillips of the Jets has a message for Jets fans with an odd story. Also, we wrote some jokes for NFL Honors and performed them.
We took calls on the Netflix documentary on the Olympic hockey team and the World Cup. A caller said Roger Goodell DJ’d at NFL Honors and it was embarrassing. Another checks in about being embarrassed by a Super Bowl party theme.
And...surprise...it ended up a near disaster.
Jon Gruden is suing the NFL for purposely destroying his career. If only this trial was in NYC. Plus, an irate sanitation worker calls in to let Boomer have it about his criticisms.
Jerry back with Jaxson Dart’s mom talking about him at the NFL Honors. Dart was on with Chris Simms and talked about his rookie year and John Harbaugh. Jon Hamm was the host and made a joke about Jerry Jones. Harrison Phillips of the Jets was on with Jake Asman and was asked what his message is for Jets fans.
Gio is annoyed at the fans and players who are annoyed that a legend isn't backing their team.
Jerry is here with Matthew Stafford accepting the MVP award and addressing next year. Druski announced the offensive player of the year and he had a tough time saying his name. Sauce Gardner talked about ticking off the Colts coach. Jets defensive tackle Harrison Phillips on the Jets 'cancerous atmosphere’.
