Two games in two days for the Canadian men's hockey squad! They faceoff against Switzerland as the show gets underway! Hernan Salas and Joaquin Gage have a bit of a watchalong, diving into the lineups, projections and updates on the live game throughout their show! As it is Friday, we test producer Zachary 'Koob' Kubusch with Zach to the Future, as Koob has to answer various pop culture, music, and sports-related questions! 80s and 90s based only!
Matt Larkin from Daily Faceoff shares some of his time to give his take on Canada's 5-0 win over Czechia and they look ahead to Friday's game versus Switzerland. Salas and Gage continue to update the Olympics, and look ahead to the Men's hockey games that go on Friday. Salas and Gage head to Italy, discussing the action they've absorbed, continuing their preview of Team Canada's big debut at the men's tournament. Sweden and Italy are in action throughout the show, as the fellas give live updates. Meanwhile, Finland lost 4-1 to Slovakia to kick off things. What are the lines for Team Canada? In the second hour of the show, Matt Iwanyk built a parlay for Play Alberta around William Dandjinou, Canadian short track speedskater.   Benny Thomson of EST joined the show and he talked about the lines of Canada's men's hockey team for the Olympics. Canada is getting set for the start of the tournament on Thursday vs Czechia.
Matthew Iwanyk, Joaquin Gage and Zach Kubusch bring you another edition of EST Afternoons, as they looking back on the Super Bowl, with the Seahawks winning their second Super Bowl title in franchise history, the halftime show with Bad Bunny. They also talked about the first couple of days of the 2026 Olympics.   At the end of the hour, Bryan DeArdo from CBS Sports joined the show to give his take on the Super Bowl and the play of both the Seahawks and the Patriots.

Nick Cattles from Locked on Patriots phones into the program to describe Super Bowl week, diving into the matchup on the field. What needs to go right for the Pats to pull this one out? Is it shocking to see that the Seahawks are favourites? How does New England need to shut down the lethal offence of the Hawks? To close it out the boys talk about Seth Jarvis replacing Brayden Point from Team Canada, 
The Olympic break begins for the Edmonton Oilers, who've lost their past three games, dropping a 4-3 decision to the Calgary Flames last night. How did they perform? Is this break needed for the Oilers? What should the club try to focus on once they get going again? Hosts Hernan Salas and former Oilers goalie Joaquin Gage hit the ice to pick apart the game. They get into Highlights/Lowlights to illustrate what went wrong. They also note some things Leon Draisaitl expressed about his team's play as of late, before diving into the rest of the Oilers' crew.
Aazam Ali Nanji from Sportsnet 960 in Calgary joins the show to preview the final Battle of Alberta of the season.  Panarin discussion continues with the Fourth Period's Dennis Bernstein as he checks in to give his initial thoughts on the move. It's the eighth and final game for the Edmonton Oilers at home as they face the Maple Leafs tonight. Will the Oilers get back on their feet and prove they're a better team than the Leafs? Any adjustments to the lineup?  And Connor McDavid wrote an article on The Players' Tribune called 'Dear Canada,' where he addressed his passion for hockey, expressing how much he wants to win it all, and win with Edmonton. Hernan and Joaquin share their thoughts on the article to try their best to understand the mind of McDavid.  Edmonton Elks Kordell Jackson checks in with the boys as well!
