In hour 2, Salas and Gage continue the Oilers talk as they look at both lineups for tonight's preseason finale and discuss what specific player they're looking at for this evenings game.  Out east, the Jays and Yankees ALDS is set for a five-game series. This is the first time these teams have met in the playoffs. What are the big stories heading into the series on both sides of the game? A signing was made in Oil Country with the Oilers extending HC Kris Knoblauch to a three-year deal. Is this the right move, re-signing Knoblauch? What does this mean for the future of the team? Does this extension affect Connor McDavid's possible deal in E-Town? On a busy Friday show, Hernan Salas and former Oilers goalie Joaquin Gage discuss. The guys recap what Knoblauch has done in his short tenure as the Oilers' bench boss and what he's brought to the team after a full season with the squad. Hernan and Joaquin also preview tonight's preseason finale, as the Oilers face the Canucks. Speaking of contracts, Luke Hughes sings for 8 years with the Devils, so to help the guys with that discussion, James Nichols from New Jersey Hockey Now joins us.  Plus, Salas and Gage talk the best and worst male sitcom characters for Hernan's World in honour of "Cheers" debuting on NBC 43 years ago today!  
Hernan Salas and Joaquin Gage  got a lot to go over as we have seen some news come out of the NHL the past few days. First, the Oilers have acquired Connor Ingram from the Mammoth to help strengthen their goalie depth. We will also hear from Stan Bowman as he addressed the media this morning. We also had the biggest contract in NHL history being handed out yesterday as Kirill Kaprizov signed for 8 years in Minnesota.
In hour 2, Benny chimes in on Stuart Skinner, then Hernan and Gage revisit the Vasily Podkolzin 3-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers. Plus the boys recap the Elks big win over the Riders on Saturday and all the action from Sunday in the NFL. 
Salas and Gage kick off the week with tons of Edmonton Oilers talk! Preseason overreactions, how many rookies started the season on the eventual Stanley Cup winning teams and the importance of Stuart Skinner this season.  The Athletics Daniel Nugent-Bowman joined the boys to recap the Oilers win over the Vancouver Canucks on Sunday night and they look ahead to the roster decisions looming.

The second hour of the show began with the Red Light District with Joaquin Gage talking pre-season hockey and his feelings on the amount of pre-season game.     Kordell Jackson, DB with the Edmonton Elks, joined the show to preview the Edmonton Elks upcoming game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday.     The show ended with Inside the Numbers for Play Alberta, looking at the playoff races in the majors.

Britton Gray from CJME in Regina joined the show to give an insights into the upcoming opponent for the Edmonton Elks, as they welcome the Saskatchewan Roughriders to town on Saturday.   The boys got Inside the Numbers for Play Alberta, further looking at the changes coming to the CFL and gave out a Courageous Moment for Alberta Blue Cross!   To round out the show, Spencer Love, from Love Pro Wrestling, gave info on the upcoming TNA Wrestling events in town this weekend and what's upcoming for Love Pro Wrestling.
