Description

Hosted by Amanda Jones. A Christian woman, wife, & mom walking in full freedom through Jesus Christ while navigating the ups and downs of life through obedience to the Holy Spirit (not ever done perfectly of course, but His grace is sufficient!).

An advocate for authentic community and our need for one another. Life is hard and we need eachother, but ultimately we need Jesus. I can’t imagine doing any part of life without Him. He has made me full of life and joy. He’s healed me in every way including: insecurities, overthinking, people pleasing, processing and releasing past traumas, mending my heart, and renewing my mind. These are some of the areas I hope to share with you to help you walk in freedom too as we put our full trust in our Heavenly Father. I pray that the Holy Spirit will use this platform to touch others lives and speak through me each episode. All glory & honour & praise to King Jesus.

2 Tim 2:13 “Even if we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for he cannot be false to Himself.”

We moved to New Zealand! God had been so faithful in his leading in this decision and was asking us to simply walk in faith, one step at a time. Each step was so necessary and we had to walk through each next door to get our next direction/next step from God. This has truly been an adventure of a lifetime already and we are just getting started! Be blessed as you listen and as you discern the places or steps of obedience God may be calling you to. :)

My first non-family guest! This episode we talk about friendship and what it means to be a sister in Christ. We laugh a lot and mainly reminisce on our freindship over the past 11+ years! Unfortunately over half of the episode didn't record so we got what we got! Haha. Enjoy!

My first guest! I am so excited to be joined today by my 6yr old daughter Ruth. She got baptized when she was 5yrs old on her own initiation and shares her story. We talk about dreams and how God speaks to us through them. We touch on Halloween and how & why we will be doing things differently this year. We also talk about heaven and Ruth shares a special blessing. <3
Wow! What a title. lol. This message has been on my heart though and it's true in the sense that a large part of Christianity has cancelled the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is actually necessary to direct us in God's will and His best for us. This is an invitation for more. An invitation for peace, wisdom, understanding, purpose, and freedom. An invitation to renew your mind in Christ Jesus and be set free by going through your own spiritual healing and to fulfill your greatest purpose after loving God with all your heart, mind, and soul, which is the great commission; to share Jesus and disciple those around you. This can look different for everyone because we are the body of Christ. One body, with many parts and roles. God prepared, in advance, good works specifically for YOU. You are wanted, needed, and purposed. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus and it's time to live that way. <3

Is your home a place of peace? This episode covers how to cultivate peace in your home both physically and spiritually. We have authority over our homes so we can set the tone for how it feels and what we allow in and cast out. We want our homes to be somewhere we can truly rest and abide in the Lord. Where we can feel his presence and hear clearly from Him. "My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest." Isaiah 32:18
This is the topic I get asked about the most: Why we homeschool. I truly don’t believe in one-size-fits-all but I do believe in having a choice. So I want to share our story for any other moms who just want options or the confidence to try something different.Homeschool is actually a large network these days as a lot of families, both Christian and not, are choosing this avenue now. There are so many resources and so much support if you look for it.Our greatest call as Christian parents is to disciple our own kids. Not rely on a church or school or anyone else to do that for us. So no matter what path you personally feel led down, keep God in it and listen to the Holy Spirits prompts if you feel off about something, and make sure you are intentional about finding time to disciple your kids.Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
