So you want a better marriage?
But you're frustrated that nothing seems to work. Begging, pleading, consequences, boundaries, and communication, communication, communication -- it's all futile.
The enemy wants you to think that you are alone. That you're the only one who is going through these struggles. He also wants you to think that you have the control to change your husband. That if somehow you were better, prettier, or thinner, your husband would find it in himself to be better, to change, and to be the husband and father God calls him to be. And all of those are lies.
On The Wise Wife Podcast, Natasha brings together the living Word, real life success stories, and practical strategies she used to partner with the Trinity and see her marriage healed and thriving.
More and more women are applying the strategies they've learned in reading The Wise Wife Blueprint and radically impacting their marriage. Even after years, sometimes decades, of hopelessness. Now you can learn these strategies through Natasha's thought-provoking podcast episodes where she shares the biblical strategies that will help you find joy in your marriage. Yes, even your marriage.
It takes two to save a marriage: you and Jesus.

Today on the Wise Wife Podcast, Natasha explores praying "in the Spirit," including speaking in tongues. We'll learn about the power of this form of prayer for personal edification, intercession, and spiritual warfare and talk about why it's important for EVERY believer. Come with expectation and FAITH that you can be baptized in the Holy Spirit!
In this episode, we near the conclusion of our Armor of God series by recapping what we’ve learned about standing firm against evil, as outlined in Ephesians 6. This isn’t metaphorical or abstract; it’s preparation for a literal spiritual battle raging over our souls, families, and legacies. We explore the Bible’s depiction of an organized, hierarchical demonic realm and how understanding this reality transforms the way we view spiritual tools like prayer, fasting, and the armor of God. Natasha addresses misconceptions about the spiritual realm, explaining its structure and emphasizing that our good works empower our side of the battle, not to earn God’s favor, but to move the needle in this unseen war. She also warns against the dangers of becoming prideful or fascinated with spiritual authority, urging listeners to remain rooted in Jesus, who alone gives us victory. This episode challenges listeners to see spiritual warfare as real, urgent, and relevant to their daily lives, while reminding them that Christ’s power enables them to stand firm and finish strong.
In this episode, Natasha continues the Armor of God series with a deep dive into the Helmet of Salvation. She challenges listeners to move beyond surface-level understanding of salvation and instead embrace its transformative power. Natasha explores how the enemy targets our identity, distorts our purpose, and uses pride or shame to separate us from God. She unpacks what it means to have an eternal mindset, how salvation equips us to finish strong, and why our identity in Christ is the key to victory over spiritual attacks, especially when we are being called to fight for our marriage without signs of hope in our natural circumstances. This episode is a must-listen for anyone seeking deeper faith, clarity of purpose, and unshakable confidence in their salvation.
In continuing our study on the Armor of God, Natasha emphasizes the importance of actively using faith as a shield against the enemy's attacks, allowing us to advance into battle rather than passively taking the hits. Drawing parallels with Roman military strategies and Japanese samurai tactics to underscore the need for discipline, resilience, and unwavering faith, Natasha also highlights the significance of viewing our hardships as God's gracious discipline. With the shield of faith, we can be encouraged to charge into battle, trusting in God's promises and eternal rewards!
In this episode, Natasha reflects on how unprepared many of us are for marriage and the unrealistic expectations we can easily bring with us into our relationships. As we unpack the importance of allowing time and space for spiritual growth in both our husband and ourselves, Natasha takes us through the next piece of armor in our Armor of God series. Tune in to hear about the significance of preparing our heart and mind with the gospel of peace and how it will enable you to face the spiritual battles that come in both marriage and life.
When facing marriage breakdown, Natasha made the mistake of embracing self-righteousness and it only led to further destruction. In this episode, she explores the significance of true righteousness, found in Jesus, as she explores the breastplate of righteousness as a spiritual weapon. Natasha delves into the meaning of righteousness, the importance of faith and love, and the relationship between belief, actions, and salvation. She also encourages listeners to understand God's character, and their own authority in Christ, as they seek breakthrough in their marriage.
The enemy tries to deceive us and prevent us from knowing the WHOLE truth. We saw it with Eve in the Garden and his tricks haven't changed much since then. Today's episode emphasizes the significance of being able to discern real truth from partial and half-truths and how these half-truths can hinder our spiritual growth and understanding. For when we have the real truth, we can step out in confidence and clarity -- no more second guessing, no more fear of the consequences, no more being manipulated by the sinful actions of others.
Are you feeling totally overwhelmed at your circumstances? Are you tired of getting knocked down by the things your husband is saying or doing? In today's episode, Natasha shares a critical strategy to help shift your mindset from the natural realm -- what you see and hear -- to the spiritual realm. And it is in the spiritual realm where true and lasting change can happen!
The Bible tells us to not wage war the way the world does but to tap into the divine weapons we have through the authority given to us through Jesus. Today we explore the significance of the most powerful spiritual weapon available to us. In addition to experiencing the "fullness of life" we read about in Ephesians 3:19, embracing this spiritual weapon also leads us to better understand our spiritual assignment.
When Satan can’t outright convince you to embrace sin, he will try to get you to embrace faulty beliefs that keep you ineffective. One of the most common attacks I see in women who are obediently fighting to save their marriages is the sneaky exploitation of your own good intentions. In this episode, we talk about how Satan can exploit your desire for holiness by subtly convincing you that your good works are enough to save your marriage. Or, on the contrary, that you're not doing enough good works to deserve marriage breakthrough. But Jesus didn't come for a transaction -- He came to KNOW you and to introduce you to the love of the Father. Natasha shares her own story of coming to a better understanding of the Trinity and how each Person within it wants to know you for who you are, not what you do.
The enemy wants you to believe that you’re in a fight against your husband, that the fight is about changing your circumstances, and that because you see no sign of life in the natural, there is no hope of anything improving or changing for the better. But it's time to learn how to fight the right fight and use the powerful divine weapons that we have as part of our inheritance in Christ.
When we think about pride, we often think about boastful people who are full of themselves. And while that may be one sign someone is struggling with pride, there are many more (sneakier) ways that this common human condition can be hindering us and keeping us from the growth God has for us!Root it out and be free today so you can step into all that God is calling you to!
When marriages break down, there is almost always another person involved. Whether it's a full-blown physical affair or an emotional affair based in fantasy, the wife left behind often struggles with feeling inadequate when comparing herself to the other woman. In today's episode, Natasha shares why that comparison is inherently wrong and what you can do to safeguard yourself against it.
In the second part of our "helpmeet" series, Natasha shares more practical advice on how to best serve our families and some of the subtle-yet-powerful ways we can help create an environment which will lead to positive growth in our husband and marriage.
We hear all the time that God created men and women to be equal but it doesn't seem that way when we read Genesis and, depending on our translation, see our role defined as a "helper" or "suitable counterpart". In part one of this two-part series on the true definition of "helpmeet", Natasha breaks down the Hebrew translations of the word to give a better picture of how God really sees us as wives and practical ways we can live up to the noble calling.
The Bible shows us many examples of those who experienced suffering and yet seemed to suffer "well". How did they do it? In this episode, Natasha shares strategies which she, and many other women, use to successfully weather the storms of marriage (and life!) while not losing hope. With these specific biblical strategies, you'll discover ways to safeguard your heart from hopelessness and stop hitting "pause" on your life while you wait for your miracle!
The Bible says to submit to your husband "in all things", but what do we do when it's something that goes against our conscience? Or, in the case of this listener's question, what about when our husband is defying God's commands. Do we say something? Do we put our foot down? Natasha answers that, and more, in this week's podcast.
Don't miss this episode if you're praying and believing for something miraculous. Natasha shares practical strategies to keep yourself in the "right fight" and avoid the common roadblocks that many of us face when we are up against a mountain of negative circumstances.
