Today I had the opportunity to speak with Isabel Vega, a licensed cosmetologist, (former) beauty queen (a total queen in my eyes!), model, mother and wife. Isabel made history as the first woman to be crowned Mrs. Universal Petite at the Universal Petite Pageant while representing Puerto Rico in 2023. During her reign, she supported fellow entrepreneurs through her achievements in the beauty industry. Her evident genuine personality has allowed her to build strong connections with those around her in and out of pageantry.
She is currently expanding her business and services. For those in Pennsylvania or nearby, she offers not only salon services, but also provides makeup and hair services for weddings and pageants, and you can connect with her on Instagram at @beautybyisa.a | @bbihair.studio.

First of all, I apologize; at the beginning of this episode, my phone overheated and I lost the first 15 minutes of our conversation, but all in all, I love how my convo with Amelia went and you will be able to catch up in no time!
In today's episode of Operation Glow Up, I had the pleasure of speaking with actor and singer/songwriter Amelia Meyers Rosenwach. Amelia made her way to Los Angeles in 2007, where she became a familiar face on General Hospital, appearing in 160 episodes. She's also had roles in popular shows like Days of Our Lives and All My Children. After some time, she returned to her home state of Maryland to raise her two daughters with her husband, Jason.
Recently, Amelia found herself unexpectedly stepping into the role of a beauty queen, which inspired her to become more outspoken about her experience with Crohn's disease, a condition she was diagnosed with at the age of 17. She is now using her platform and talents to help others navigate their own trauma. Excitingly, she has an upcoming documentary and a new book in the works. You can keep up with her journey by following her on Instagram at @ameliameyersofficial and visiting her website ameliameyers.com.
In this episode of Operation Glow Up, I briefly discuss the significant impact my grandfather had on my life. He dedicated 50 years to fishing, was a father to 13 children, and a grandfather to over 30. His life exemplifies resilience, positivity, and the importance of maintaining a positive attitude. I hope as I share this snippet of his life story, I can inspire others to find joy in the small moments, just as he inspired me.
