Hello family!! In this episode, we are going to touch on if God can really fulfill our desires. Sometimes we are tempted to believe that His story for us will be boring. That He won't consider our desires and we will end up unhappy surrendering it to Him. The truth is that He sees us. He hears us. And He will fulfill our desires and more!! Woah how cool is that? Let this episode be a reminder that the Lord delights in us and wants the best for us. He gives us desires and dreams for a reason! Of course He wants to help us reach that. I have a small request for my listeners today. READ PSALMS 37. The passage is all promises the Lord has for those who trust Him. So let's continue to do that even though life gets tough sometimes. He sees you and loves you. Let Him take care of the rest :) As always, God bless!!
Hi family! Welcome to A Catholic's Diary!! It's been a while and I did indeed take a bit of a break. But I am back and excited to restart this podcast. This is just a fresh introduction talking about the purpose of this platform and why I am here. I am a college student who is growing in the faith and I have always desired having a platform to share my experiences with the world. So come as you are and journey with me through all the highs and lows.As always will be praying for you :) God bless, Alisha
Hi everyone!Excited to be back and talk about this topic. I believe it's something so many of us struggle with and want a guidebook on what to do. But the truth is in the simplicity. We just have to trust our Abba. But how exactly do we do that? Well, it is a journey and it's something we need to keep working on. Like any relationship/friendship, we need to be consistent and build trust. So work with Him. Read the Bible. Understand the promises He has for us. My favorite one from this episode in Proverbs 16:3-4, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble."So take courage!! He's got your back :)
Hi Brothers and Sisters! Let's talk about change. I know. It's a little scary and a little uncomfortable, right? You may be going through a breakup, stepping into adulthood, or moving to a different place. There are so many different things that can shake up our comfortable lives. But change promotes growth, and more than anything, it strengthens your relationship with God (if you want it to). So in this episode, I'm going to break down why change is good and how we can use it to run to Him :)As always, praying for ya'llGod bless!Alisha
Hey everybody!!Can you believe we are halfway through Lent? Some of you might be living a very fruitful season and others not so much. Either way, I invite you to see Lent as a gift for you. God can work wonders during this time, even if you might be starting the journey late. In this episode, we talk about the biblical passage regarding Lent and the three different actions that tie into Lent: Fasting, Prayer, and Almsgiving. Do not worry if you haven't been doing the best job. It happens to the best of us :) But let's walk together in this journey and see what God has in store. As always, God Bless. Alisha
So hi guys! It's been a while, I know. But we are back again and stronger and more faithful than ever. In this episode, I will break down some ways to build trust with God. Trusting is hard brothers and sisters. Whether it be at home, with our friends, or at work. Trust needs to be built. It isn't always easy, but it is possible. As we grow in our relationship with Abba, trust is a fundamental part of it all. So let's walk together in this journey of building trust with Him. He is eager and waiting to be a part of your life. All you have to do is let him in :) As always, praying for ya'll.God bless, Alisha
Hello everyone!!
In this episode, we talk about sin and the effects of it in our lives. Sometimes we forget how much it blocks our relationship with God. I urge you all to examine yourself and think about what areas of our life is affected by sin. Take courage brothers and sisters! Do not let these bumps along the road take you away from the loving gaze of the Father. As always, praying for all of you!
God bless :)

Hello everyone!!
In this episode, I want to discuss our overthinking habits. I often catch myself excessively thinking about my past or future but never having a moment to enjoy the present. In episode 6, we will discuss how to overcome overthinking. Our lives are a gift and are meant to be enjoyed in the peace and mercy of the Lord. I am excited to touch on this piece because of how relevant overthinking and anxious thoughts are in our lives. In Christ, we can overcome this! Take courage in that brothers and sisters.
As always praying for you :)
God bless!

Prayer is a relationship and like any relationship, it's not perfect. We are going to have ups and downs. In fact, the Church recognizes these highs and lows as times of consolation and desolation.
Recognizing that the prayer life is not perfect brings me great joy because often times, all we see are the good sides of a person's prayer life. There is beauty to that but in this episode, I want all of you to know that we all have low points in our relationship with God. But it's the faith and the desire to know Him that will bring us closer even if it's hard and even if we can't see Him. Take courage, my brothers and sisters, Abba is waiting for you.
God bless
Alisha :)
And we're back! This episode is focused on the waiting season. Sometimes this season is seen in a negative light but the truth is that it's a season filled with many fruits and blessings. It's a season where you are at peace being single. While that might sound scary (because it was for me), the truth is that it's actually freeing. I am super super excited to talk about the waiting season in this episode. As always, praying for all of you.
God bless!

Back at it again with episode 3! Today we will be talking about Godly friendships and more. Friendship is a gift from God and a good friend can work wonders. Now imagine having God as a friend. With Him, you would be unstoppable, and guess what? He wants YOU to be friends with him. He has called us to friendship. The Lord is proud of you and wants to walk with you in every way. All you have to do is invite him. Now how do you do that? Listen to the episode to learn more.
God Bless!!
Alisha
We are back to episode 2! In this episode, I will be talking about finding your identity. Our identity can come from money, status, education, etc. However, while these things might hold some importance, your true identity is from Christ. Coming to terms with that can be hard especially since the world tells us differently. Take courage though my brothers and sisters! The Lord is walking with you and He takes sweet joy and pride in you, wherever you might be in life. I am hoping this episode will inspire you to pursue a life with God and that He becomes your identity!
God bless :)
