Well, Rivalry Weekend delivered. We go in depth discussing the Palmetto Bowl as Clemson got the victory 28-14. We also discuss the offseason challenges facing both teams, South Carolina and Clemson (recruiting, staff changes, and roster retention). We finish it up talking about the coaching carousel and make our championship game picks.
The week has arrived in the state of South Carolina. All the hate, all the pride, all the bragging rights on the line. South Carolina and Clemson both have had seasons to forget, but it can all be salvaged Saturday. We break the game down in depth as well as discuss other rivalry games around the country. The whole nation witnessed the historic comeback/collapse at Kyle Field. We take a deep dive into South Carolina’s embarrassing collapse and what it all means moving forward. We also discuss Clemson’s narrow victory, mindset into next week and start talking about the Palmetto State Clash at the end of the season. We talk about our Citadel bulldogs as always and make our quick picks to wrap it all up.
Our home teams have major opportunities on the line. After Clemson took care of business against Florida State, they have the chance to earn a signature win against ranked Louisville. South Carolina has a massive uphill battle ahead but nonetheless, could earn a huge win against #3 Texas A&M. And lastly, Citadel faces rival Wofford as they hope to earn the season’s 5th win. Fire, a fitting word for how things are shaping up so far this season. Some teams are on fire, Texas A&M, Alabama, Ole Miss just to name a few. It’s been a wild season as we approach the halfway point of the season. We discuss several big upsets, coaching change in Penn State and what’s next.
