Every season teams face turning points where it’s either “Sink or Swim”. For many teams, that time has come. Clemson bounced back on the road to UNC. But was North Carolina even worse than we thought? South Carolina is set to begin their gauntlet of top ranked opponents. They head to LSU at night to hopefully earn the upset, we discuss our thoughts on the matchup. Citadel aims to keep their momentum going as they host Valdosta, scoring at home has to finally happen. The Citadel thankfully dominated their game against Samford, but we have very strong feelings/reactions to Clemson and South Carolina. We give our overreactions, concerns and fear of upcoming games. For our home state of South Carolina, we saw two very different outcomes Saturday night under the lights. Clemson, dominated in Death Valley by Louisville. Gamecocks, statement win over top ten opponent Texas A&M. We give our thorough breakdowns of both games and what it means for each program. Week 2 is in the books and it was a very unexpected Saturday. Clemson broke records on their way to throttling App State, begging the question is Clemson back? South Carolina put on a defensive clinic as they dominated Kentucky, thus earning College Gameday for their upcoming LSU matchup. We dive into other matchups around the nation, including several surprising results.
After a disappointing and hair-pulling weekend, we have some strong words for a few teams. We give our recap on Clemson’s face-plant, South Carolina’s mediocre performance, as well as others. We wrap it all up with reactions to other major games that took place over the weekend and discuss the fallout.
