We chat about some of the crazy sessions he’s done in his time to accommodate his work and competitive racing, including a 3am long run. We speak about how Connor managed to train for Ironman NMB without direct access to a pool, yet still managed a 2nd place in his AG. This week we are joined by Saffa long distance pro Magda Nieuwoudt.Magda had a breakthrough race at Ironman Nelson Mandela Bay in 2022, and followed it up with a stellar year in 2023 with a 66% win rate, taking home the Challenge Family World Bonus. However, injuries derailed her 2024 year. She was essentially out of the running for nearly the whole year. But she is BACK! And ready to go.
